The best restaurants

19/05/2026: Just had two coffees and a scone today. Place was fine but have to say that I was dissapionted when charged an extra one euro for a small pot of hot water to add to the coffees, which were not very hot and I was charged an additional 50 cent for a very tiny portion of cream for the scone! The coffees and scone were already at the top price range that I have paid for same anywhere and I feel that the extra charges were oportunistic and mean. I have never ever been charged for hot water with coffees before! Dissapointed to say the least!👎

26/05/2026: Stayed here at the weekend for 2 night for my 40th birthday brilliant place had the room done up with balloons and chocolates greatly appreciated 👏 and breakfast was great lovely girls working there really homely ,and rooms spotless will be bk for sure,great location to tour kerry thanks again

15/05/2026: Such a lovely experience, today I visited with a group of people with intellectual disabilities through work, the staff were amazing. Staff were so accommodating, patient and kind and made our group feel very welcome. Food was absolutely amazing as well . Thank you very much!

04/10/2025: loviest place ever. went there upon seeing all the reviews raving about how good this place is. and it’s safe to say it definitely met those standards. their spice bag is not those kind sprinkled with seasoning but instead it’s drenched in sauce. had a nice salty & sweet & spicy taste to it and you can definitely taste how it was made to order. to top it off, when we requested to change the chicken tenders to popcorn chicken after we saw everyone raving about it, the ladies at janet’s gave us half a portion of the popcorn chicken on the house. thank you janet’s for making our night and we look forward to coming back!

06/05/2026: We had a BBQ for 2 2 picanha steaks 2 chickens Chorizo ​​sausages Rice Salad French fries Farofa (a traditional Colombian dish) Pico de gallo Fejon (a local bean dish) Excellent! It was 56 pesos for 2 chubby people 😅

29/05/2026: The staff are wonderful in every respect. The breakfast is really good, as is the dinner in the restaurant. The room was large with a charming, old-world feel.

28/05/2026: This hotel is about as big as the town itself. My room was very nice, even with the bathtub. The double bed was large and comfortable. My only disappointment was that the light switches were only on one side of the bed. It was a bit tricky to get back in late at night, with all the signs to follow and the doorbell to ring. It would be nice, like many places, to just put down the room paper. The breakfast was really plentiful and fresh. Dinner was very good and varied, although one evening the pork ribs were only lukewarm.

24/05/2026: Awful! Bad food at exorbitant prices

17/05/2026: This is a restaurant I was introduced to by a local acquaintance during my first visit to Dublin in 2019, and it left a very strong impression on me. I wanted to go again on this trip, so I revisited it. I visited on my second day in Dublin. I was a little tired after sightseeing at Newgrange and suffering from jet lag, so I didn't have much of an appetite, but I enjoyed a light meal with wine. I ordered the soup from "The Old Dubliner," Salmon Gravlax, and "Jammets" Mixed Grill. All the dishes were carefully prepared and delicious. I was particularly satisfied with the salmon and the grilled dishes. However, perhaps due to my physical condition or expectations, this visit didn't quite reach the same level of "Wow!" as my first visit in 2019. Nevertheless, it remains a wonderful restaurant where you can enjoy a relaxing meal in Dublin. I was happy to revisit this memorable place.

31/07/2025: My favourite spot in Dublin (if not the country) for food! Always delivers the flavour. First time in the new premises but great to see the same friendly staff and high quality food continue. Always recommend Alma to anyone looking for good food in Dublin knowing they won't be disappointed.

23/07/2025: A difficult spot to visit due to high demand & limited space however worth the effort of making a reservation ahead to visit. I recommend trying the avocado toast and the pancakes after to share. Fresh orange juice and a coffee are also a great option at Alma. I recommend checking them out.

26/10/2025: I thought it was even better than the last time I was there 😂 I had an almond croissant and a sausage roll 😘👌at I think 10am and I didn’t eat again until 5:30 but not sure I even needed to!

03/06/2026: Excellent venue for a night out. We perform music here every month and without fail it is an excellent venue for vibes, drinks and live music. Staff are always friendly and welcoming

02/06/2026: Unfortunately, this was a completely disastrous first encounter. We wanted to visit the venue this afternoon to check it out over a few drinks, as we had planned to reserve a table for four for the evening. Despite the place being barely occupied—at most 20% capacity—the welcome we received was extremely rude. When we asked if we could sit in the bright, front bar area, the response was extremely dismissive and surly. The tables in the front are only given to people, who wants to order food. As told before, the Bar was nearly empty, and it was 15:45 on a Tuesday. We were told, that we can have our drinks in the dark backroom. We left and wont come back again. We are spending our money somewhere else.

17/05/2026: We stopped for a coffee, it was ok i think the milk was burnt but the place was quaint and authentic , the fire was lighting everything was home made it was worth a visit.
