04/10/2025: loviest place ever. went there upon seeing all the reviews raving about how good this place is. and it’s safe to say it definitely met those standards. their spice bag is not those kind sprinkled with seasoning but instead it’s drenched in sauce. had a nice salty & sweet & spicy taste to it and you can definitely taste how it was made to order. to top it off, when we requested to change the chicken tenders to popcorn chicken after we saw everyone raving about it, the ladies at janet’s gave us half a portion of the popcorn chicken on the house. thank you janet’s for making our night and we look forward to coming back!

23/03/2026: Staying with work in The West County Hotel and went for walk in Phoenix Park. Called in here for bite to eat and a drink on way back. first thing that strikes you is the interior is really nice and the pub has real character. Food was excellent with an extensive menu and staff were just nice people. Will definitely be back and would strongly recommend it. It's outside appearance doesn't prepare you for how nice it is inside.

I really loved the professional kindness of the local bartenders and the thoughtful preservation of the Joyce related memorabilia because the balance of the old world tradition and the friendly community vibe is truly impressive and it provides a satisfying and rewarding experience for every visitor. The facility is maintained with a great sense of local pride and I noticed that the environment remains respectful and warm for families looking for a relaxing meal after a long walk through the nearby Phoenix Park grounds. It is a must visit for any resident or traveler who appreciates a well managed independent pub where the quality of the service is a main priority and the surrounding views of the Liffey river add a layer of natural beauty to the entire visit. I also appreciated the clean organization of the seating areas and the general sense of warmth within the lounge because it encourages a relaxed and mindful appreciation of the local pub culture while soaking in the vibrant charm of the Dublin landscape. Even though it is a popular spot for weekend regulars the organization of the service is executed with such care that you always feel like a valued guest during your stay. 02/11/2025: We had breakfast at Foodgame today and were very satisfied overall. The food was really delicious – large portions, and we had bagels and eggs, among other things, exactly as we ordered. The ingredients seemed fresh, the coffee was excellent, and you can tell they place a lot of emphasis on homemade items. The only slight drawback was the noise level: it was quite loud in the café, which made a quiet conversation a bit difficult. Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a good breakfast with plenty of choices and a big appetite.

28/10/2025: Staff so friendly to our kids. We love going there at the weekend. Breakfast burrito and avocado toast two highlights. They should sell their chipotle mayo!!!

29/09/2025: My daughter enjoyed her birthday party here recently. What a fantastic experience. The birthday march was so cute! The staff were really helpful and easy going. The kids enjoyed the playing and the yummy Supermacs meal! Highly recommend.

27/02/2026: An utterly divine (homemade) chicken fillet burger that was cooked fresh to order. The chicken extended beyond the bun, not the other way around as is often the case. Spoke to one of the co-owners, who is a gentleman. It was my first time visiting this establishment and it certainly will not be the last. Keep up the good work guys!

Just as their menu says, it's not a fast-food restaurant: the burgers were delicious and the service was fantastic. It was a great find near our hotel, and we're very happy with it. 16/02/2026: Tried Spice Village in Terenure recently and was really impressed. The food tasted fresh and full of flavour without being overly greasy. I ordered the butter chicken and garlic naan, and both were excellent — creamy, well-spiced, and very satisfying. The portion sizes were generous, so we even had leftovers for the next day. Service was friendly and the order was ready on time, even though it was a busy evening. The place itself is clean and comfortable, making it a nice option if you want to sit in as well. Definitely one of the better Indian takeaways in the area — I’ll be ordering again.

16/02/2026: Got a takeaway from Spice Village in Terenure on a busy Friday night and was pleasantly surprised by how smooth everything went. The food was ready when promised and still piping hot when we got home. I had the lamb rogan josh and it was tender, rich, and full of flavour, while the garlic naan was soft with just the right amount of crisp on the edges. The portions were generous and great value for the price, and you can tell the ingredients are fresh. Staff were friendly during collection, which always leaves a good impression. Really solid local Indian takeaway reliable, tasty, and perfect for a weekend treat.
