25/04/2025: The service was fabulous and the food tastey. I had a spicey chicken dish and it was the perfect amount of spice, cleared up the sinuses. Oftentimes tough to find spicer food in Dublin. You are really spoilt for food choices in Dublin a blessing and sometimes a curse. This was a good choice, especially for regulars. It may not necessarily be an exhiliratiing experience and place you have to take someone to immediately, but definitely a solid, humble and reliable little spot for decent food.

11/04/2025: Exceeded my expectations. Quality of food excellent. Shared a bowl of mussels, served in an njua sauce with focaccia. Than had the pan fried hake for mains which was served with veg on a divine tomato and basil sauce. 10/10. Very good value. Excellent service.

The coaches are great - not just knowledgeable, but genuinely invested in helping you train well with quality movements. They strike the perfect balance between pushing you to improve and meeting you where you're at. The classes are fun, the atmosphere is brilliant, and you really feel the benefits of showing up regularly. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a solid place to train!

25/03/2025: Our family of 7 with quite different dietary preferences all found a great meal here. The food came out hot and cooked perfectly. The service was prompt and very friendly and helpful. The pizza was a favorite choice for a few of us. This is a great place for a meal in Dublin.

31/03/2025: We were hungry and found that other kitchens were closed in Tullamore by 9:30 pm. But we found Macari's online and walked over. What a treat! The food was good and plenty of it. The people there aim to please and they did. We talked with Guseppi ( I'm sure I spelled his name wrong) for a while after the meal. He wanted to ask if the food was good and we assured him it was. They have pride there in making good food and giving great service. Our visit there was March 26 or 27, 2025.

05/04/2025: If you set out to design the perfect gastropub you would end up with a version of the Purty Kitchen. As we crossed the road approaching the pub we were smiled at by some very happy diners leaving a full house at 8:00 PM on a Saturday night. This was a good sign. As you open the door and walk in the atmosphere immediately grabs you: it's got that almost impossible to measure buzz about it. IE the right mix of atmosphere, chatter, music, lighting, smell and interior design. All of this serves to immediately put you at ease and tell you you're in for a good evening. The staff are really helpful and brought us to a really nice corner table with a full view of the space. Pre-dinner drinks were promptly served while we went through the menu which is clearly designed to celebrate top quality Irish ingredients without being at all pretentious. It's the sort of place where you can have a really high end fish dish or top quality steak or just sit at the bar with a burger and a pint. Amongst the dishes we had where prawns pill pill, calamari, mussels and fish and chips All of which were as good as you will get and perfect for a place like this by the sea. We were really impressed with the selection of wines available by the glass which went well above and beyond the usual Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot. There is a well-trained and enthusiastic young team running the floor and it's clear the owners take a hands on approach as their presence could be seen orchestrating affairs. As the night went on and people finished their dinners the place morphed into being a nice relaxed local pub where people were enjoying a bottle of wine, a cocktail or just a few pints. We travelled across town to meet friends there and it's really convenient being literally a couple of minutes from the dart station. This is definitely a place we will be back to again and again and a big thank you to all the staff for a wonderful evening.

15/04/2025: Create location and a long-standing restaurant in kinsale but I have to say the food for dinner was very unremarkable although I did get lucky as I had the special which was lamb shanks and that was actually quite good but everyone else was very dissatisfied with their dinner. Also the floor was, I don't know whether it was greasy or whether it was whatever cleaning product they had used but it was extremely slippery

18/03/2025: Stopped in for a late lunch following the Saint Patrick’s parade and we were very impressed! Everything was phenomenal! We had a lovely Bordeaux with a caprese salad and shrimp and chorizo appetizers. The lobster and crab ravioli were amazing! My son had spaghetti fruta de mare and my husband had the carbonara. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Our host was very friendly and shared tidbits of local area and recommended a trip to the top of the small lighthouse right outside. We highly recommend the Sparks Bistro!
