The best restaurants

30/03/2025: Our party of 4 adults and 2 children called into this restaurant at 2 pm on a Saturday looking for a table, half expecting to be turned away as we could see all the tables were full ! However, the waiter with a smile said, "Let me see what I can do for you. While working on her Chrome book, looking how she could juggle her bookings around, said I can accommodate you, providing you will vacate your table by 3.30pm. A table had just become available, and we were settled comfortably into our seats. Looking around this restaurant, I was very taken by the decor and standard of finish. Our table was prepared very well and within a few minutes our orders were taken. Our drinks arrived quickly to my pleasure as sometimes you have to wait a long time when the restaurant you happen to be dining in is very busy. Anyway I could see that the restaurant was very well organised. Plenty of staff working harmlessly together delivering great service ! Our food orders were served together for our party of 6. We asked for vinegar and more ketchup, which arrived immediately. Our food was excellent, fish and chips, chicken burger with chips, steak and chips and burger and chips along with pancakes for one of the young boys. The food was hot and tasty and certainly was just what we wanted for a laid-back family lunch on a Saturday. We had coffees after our lunch. Our bill for the 6 was around €170.00 We left a tip which was well deserved by the attentive staff. We will be back .....

31/03/2025: Best breakfast in Dublin for me! Great menu with delicious food. Go everyday with my friends whilst here for work and delivers every time. Lovely staff and service as well. High recommend.

30/03/2025: Went here after a shop as didn’t want fast food options. The soup of the day was delicious & hearty with good quantity. The wraps are also a good option and filling. The staff is very friendly too. A tad on the expensive side. Other than that, a good option for a quick bite & coffee

22/03/2025: It's been a while since we ate at The Poacher. It's still brilliant. Lovely, thoughtful food, great flavours and textures all beautifully presented on the plate. The front of house team were welcoming and super efficient. A true gem in this part Ireland. It was very busy.... which says it all. Highly recommended.

04/04/2025: China Sichuan offers great flavors and delicious food, but vegetarian options are quite limited. The crispy vegetable dumplings and crispy vegetable spring rolls are excellent starters. For mains, they have Mapo Tofu and Kung Po Tofu served with jasmine rice, both flavorful choices. However, their noodles and fried rice contain egg, and they don’t offer a fully vegetarian alternative, which is a bit disappointing. The restaurant is popular and gets fully booked on weekends, so reservations are recommended. While the food is tasty and well-prepared, the prices are on the higher side.

30/03/2025: Despite being located in very industrial surroundings, this is a five-star kind of place. Excellent food, excellent service, and a great ambience.

18/02/2025: Green Bench is hands down the best sandwich spot in Dublin! Fresh ingredients, generous portions, and incredible flavors. The staff is always friendly, and the service is quick despite the lunchtime rush. If you haven’t tried their sandwiches yet, you’re missing out!

14/04/2025: First day, first rest. /pub. In Dublin Attentive and friendly service, the place fascinated us and so did the atmosphere...the place is huge (it is advisable to explore) A shame when paying we did not know that the service charge was volunteer and they added it to our handwritten account without asking or our authorization... in 4 more days we did not see him again in any place and we were in many. Even so, we returned on the last day to have a few pints in the small bar on the left. The waiter this time was an artist/professional

09/04/2025: Myself and my partner dropped in for a bite to eat Sunday afternoon last. Sat outside, despite being in the shade it was cozy. Great food , very friendly lady, overall great experience.

05/04/2025: We celebrated my partner’s Graduation with a nice lunch and two bottles of prosecco. The staff were very helpful and even managed to write “Congratulations” on his dessert. Definitely a great spot, clean and friendly, and the food is superb. The steak with truffle mashed potatoes is to die for. 😍

07/04/2025: Pastries YUM - amazing selection of sweet and savoury. The Jambon-beurre are AMAZING. Serve them 7 days a week PLEASEEEE. Stefannie was the best - so friendly, polite and generally made the experience for myself and my friend.
