27/07/2026: Typical diner atmosphere.. pictures are nice. Plenty of seating. Food came out incredibly fast. Waitresses are awesome.

08/08/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely outstanding experience at the Franciscan Well! Credit where credit is due — Pamela is an absolute icon and a massive asset to the Franciscan Well. Her service is second to none, and she’s genuinely one of the main reasons we keep coming back time and time again. From the minute you arrive, the communication, the welcome, the laughs and the banter are absolutely brilliant. Pamela has a way of making you feel at home and adds hugely to the whole atmosphere of the place. The Franciscan Well itself is a fantastic spot for a drink, a catch-up and a great night out, but having staff like Pamela takes it to another level entirely. If you’re looking for somewhere with great atmosphere, brilliant service and a proper welcome, the Franciscan Well is the place to go. ⭐ Pamela deserves serious recognition — an absolute credit to the Franciscan Well! ⭐ Couldn’t recommend the place highly enough. We’ll definitely keep coming back! 🍻👏

07/08/2026: Love this place! Delicious pizzas and they even have vegan cheese! I love the vibes here and the staff are so lovely. They do comedy night here too which are very fun. Highly recommend .

11/06/2026: The Pantry is the best morning routine I've had since Australia. Breakfast is cooked fresh to partner the first morning coffee to trigger the day. The cafe bussles with regulars, passing tourists from the Midleton Distillery on the same street with mix & match family groups getting the feed power up for the day or a special day.

11/07/2026: This restaurant is a good location if you're going to the Concert Hall (less than 5 minutes walk). It was my first time here and won't be my last. Very warm greeting by John Paul and we got the €35 two course pre-theatre menu, which was great value considering the excellent quality. We had pork and chicken mains, with chocolate cake and ice cream desserts. Beautifully presented and delicious. The free prosecco offeed for our birthday celebrations was a lovely touch. Thank you to the staff for looking after us so well.

09/08/2026: Horrible service such a small selection of food definitely never coming back here again. The workers moved us twice for no reason whatsoever. The waiter who we try to talk to had airpods in. Shocking. Food tasted like it was cooked 10 days ago aswell.

16/12/2025: One of the cosiest pubs in Dun Laoghaire. The silver application on the ceiling create a beautiful style at night and the pint they serve is delicious. The owner is a true gentleman and you will never have a bad experience in here.

07/07/2026: We had an incredible dinner at The Saddle Room! After spending 2 weeks traveling in Ireland, we had lots of great food. This meal was definitely the best! Our server Ellen was so sweet and attentive. She gave great recommendations and was very kind to our 1 year old daughter. Highly recommended this place for a fancy dinner.

09/08/2026: Amazing pub with delicious food and atmosphere opposite the ‘oldest pub in Ireland’ but that was rammed so came here and best decision made it was lush

09/08/2026: We ordered fish and chips and a Caesar salad with chicken. The best fish and chips we had in Dublin. The pub is very nice and in a great location. 100% recommended. Much better than at other well-known and more famous places in Dublin.

05/08/2026: I gave this restaurant every opportunity to address my experience privately before posting this review, but after sending a detailed formal complaint to management, I never even received the courtesy of a reply. The experience itself was unacceptable. On a quiet evening, my partner and I were ignored on arrival, left waiting around 25 minutes for a table to be cleared, told to get our own menus, never received the tap water we requested, and after around 45 minutes nobody had even taken our order. We left without eating. What stayed with us most was not the delays, but how unwelcome and dismissed we were made to feel throughout the visit. It was the night before my partner's birthday, and what should have been a lovely evening ended with us leaving upset and unable to find anywhere else to eat. Poor service can happen, but what is far more disappointing is a business that doesn't even acknowledge a genuine complaint or have the decency to respond. The complete lack of accountability has left me with no confidence that customer feedback is taken seriously.

13/07/2026: The service is fenomenal, Rodrigo that works in the kitchen together with the other guys are doing a really good job there, everything is perfect and foor is unbelievable ❤️ I love it and recommend❤️
