The best restaurants

04/08/2025: Umi's regular in Dublin. Their menus and options are bit different than Dublin. Found a strand of hair in one of our bowls and lentils and rice didn't feel right. Could have been better. Cauliflower fritters and Falafels were good.

29/07/2025: Called into the restaurant, food was fantastic, homemade, full of flavour and reasonably priced. A break from the normal ‘pub grub’. The service and staff were great.

28/07/2025: Mediocre food for high prices. If possible go somewhere else. We wanted to go to Harry’s but it was closed.

17/07/2025: Excellent cafe - we were travelling from Roscommon to Donegal town & thankfully chose this cafe. I had the scrambled eggs with sourdough & my husband had poached eggs option & they were fabulous. Americano was so good I had two. We would highly recommend Vintage Lane Cafe. Note: it’s open Wednesday to Saturday only.

30/06/2025: Helen and Ciaran went above and beyond for my group of 25 people. We stopped for brunch on our way to a hen in Donegal from Sligo. Helen had the tables beautifully decorated and welcomed us with a smile. The food was beautiful and good portions too. Our group ended up late due to a bus mix up and the guys at Vintage Lane took it in their stride and put no pressure on the group for being late. Thanks again to Ciaran and Helen. Looking forward to the next visit!

20/08/2025: A very nice pub recommended by the staff at our accommodation, and we were pleasantly surprised. Even though it was busy on a Wednesday evening, the service was quick and efficient. The dishes and desserts were authentic and absolutely delicious, with the Guinness pairing perfectly with our meal. The locals were very friendly, and we learned that all the food is 100% homemade—nothing like the typical pub fast food we were used to. We warmly recommend this place and would be happy to return!

15/08/2025: Delicious fish. I warmly recommend this place. The squid was amazingly delicious and the oysters super fresh. A real treat in the heart of Cork.

09/07/2025: Personalized luxury care in Limerick City Center! The greeting by concierge Sharron couldn’t have been any warmer nor informative! We loved the convenience of the townhouse suites being 3 steps from the historic building and the lively cafe on site. A delicious complimentary breakfast energized us for touring lovely Limerick. Also terrific was the basement workout and steam room and parlor with all-you-want espressos, teas, and chocolates. On the last day of our stay, I was in this parlor, struggling to empty the espresso machine, when room staff member Anna went out of way to help…and bring new pods for the efficient machine. Before heading off to her early morning duties, Anna made sure I didn’t need anything else and bade me a wonderful day. So glad we chose the Bedford House for our stay!

02/08/2025: Valeria our server is outstanding. We dined here prior to moving into our apartment and her fabulous service and good cheer convinced us that we were moving into the right neighborhood. We have been back multiple times since and have been fortunate to have Valeria as our server. The food and her fellow staff members are as first class as her. We will be back often and encourage you to visit as well.

13/08/2025: Our first pub upon arriving in Ireland. The exterior was beautiful, the interior a little dated, but it felt like an Irish pub. The fish and chips were so good. I loved it. The sausages on the kids' menu weren't a hit, and the burgers were good. However, the beef isn't at all like in France; it's stronger and more compact. A good portion served. My partner really enjoyed the Guinness. We recommend it 😊

12/08/2025: This is a great locals pub and restaurant just outside of the main part of Kinsale. It’s great to pop in here for a a bite or drink before or after doing the scilly walk. The food is great although service can be forgetful. Yellow walls, flowers, wood beams and dog friendly.

23/08/2025: Alba Pilar excelente servicio!!! We loved her, she was able to help us with an order when another waiter was not willing to. We loved our dinner more just because of her.

22/08/2025: Disappointing prices high for the quality. Poor selection of drinks. Meat in burger very chewy the bun feels like it’s old, chips also feel like from yesterday. Our food did not come at once.
