21/12/2025: Lovely quiet place compared to the Marina Market. The big horror themed art pictures on display is a let down though. No need for it. If you're thinking of bringing children in here I'd strongly advise against it.

31/01/2026: We booked a table for 2 people and our little jack russell. We were made feel very welcome even though it was very busy , we got a very spacious table and our dog was offered a bowl of water. The service, quality and flavour of the food was 10/10. The steak on the stone was unreal. It's the best dog friendly restaurant we have been to. We would highly recommend the grill shack and we will definitely be back again soon.

14/11/2025: Heading south for the weekend. Well worth the slight detour off the main road before Killarney. We had a very tasty toasted sandwich and a cold plate with two types of chicken, some ham and a bit of cheese. Very nice fresh food.

10/03/2026: There is always beautiful food here in The Grand, loads of choice, with very good portions. Nice surroundings, dark wood throughout. The staff are very attentive and professional. Always make a habit of coming here when in Tralee.

23/02/2026: Very nice hotel. Our bedroom was modern and decorated very nice and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is central location. All the staff were very friendly.

10/02/2026: We had a wonderful meal here tonight, with 3 adults, 2 children calling in on the late side. Extremely welcoming service despite coming in toward the end of service (and with two small kids to boot). They got our kids served quickly with some of the best pesto pasta we’ve had! And for the adults, really lovely wine and incredible mains! We were delighted with the sole-wrapped prawns, the zucchini & prawn ravioli, and the pork special. Highly recommend this spot for Italian food in Westport!

16/03/2026: 10/10 experience. Walking distance from the Anderson’s Quay bus station (highly recommend Kavanaugh coach). Private and quiet location off the main street. Open your window to enjoy the birds in the morning. Friendly, fast welcome at check in. Tidy and unfussy room was very comfortable and spacious. Shower water pressure was next-level. Biscuits and tea was a lovely finish to a long day. Close walk to dining options. Royal Wok is delicious and right around the corner. Endless shops and High Street close by. So perfect, can’t wait to be back.

14/03/2026: Spent a fantastic Friday afternoon and evening at Peploe’s with friends celebrating a significant birthday, and I left wondering why I haven’t been coming here more often! The atmosphere is brilliant – so buzzy – and its location on St Stephen’s Green makes it feel like a little oasis in the heart of the city. The food was fabulous and the service excellent throughout. Gina in particular was so lovely and made us feel genuinely welcome. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you to everyone at Peploe’s for such a wonderful day

22/02/2026: Lovely spot for a long Saturday lunch. From the warm welcome, hanging our coats up to the wonderful food and service, this place is casual, but not to casual, smart but not stuffy, the perfect mix with a great atmosphere - definitely recommended and we will definitely be back. 👌

29/12/2025: Good food and nice atmosphere! The restaurant was full when we were there but they also had a take-out place where we could order food which we could then combine with drinks from the pub and eat on their outdoor terrace. Nice!

30/11/2025: Been here twice the fish dishes are phenomenal. Do not skip desert they're really creative. Staff are pure sound. Best food in Clare right now imho.

04/12/2025: A true Dublin pub, quite chill atmosphere for a bit of a chat. Perfect pints pours consitistantly and great service Not a tourist pub, if you want a true local pub experience then you will enjoy. If are looking for a plastic paddy pub head to temple bar.

11/11/2025: Terrible management and poor organization overall. They don’t care about staff or proper training. Be careful with the food sometimes it’s old and not stored correctly. Definitely wouldn’t recommend working or eating here.
