We enjoyed a good chat with him about living in London. He introduced us to the owner and we were trying to persuade him to open one in Carlow 🤞😍

13/10/2025: I can’t thank the team at Il Vicolo enough for making my proposal night so special. From the first email I sent to plan the engagement, Reena and Eleonora were incredible—so friendly, organised and thoughtful alongside with the other staff working on the night who set up a beautiful private spot on the outdoor terrace after our meal so I could propose to my partner, and made the whole evening feel effortless and one we will never forget. The entire staff were just amazing as well: attentive, friendly, informative and really went above and beyond for not only us but all the customers whilst I was there. The food was outstanding—authentic Italian flavours, perfectly cooked pasta, amazing wines and beers—and every detail felt crafted with care. Il Vicolo will always hold a special place in our hearts. If you’re looking for incredible italian food in Galway, warm service, and a team who truly go above and beyond this is a must and we cannot wait to come back! I cannot thank you guys enough! 02/10/2025: I recently purchased the Kenya Kamagogo, and it’s truly exceptional. The quality of the beans, the process, and the roast are outstanding. In the cup, it reveals a remarkable complexity—delicate honey sweetness, a surprisingly strong body (for a Kenyan coffee), and lively fruity acidity with notes of apricot and sweet apple. The aroma is rich and layered, with hints of cacao, butter, and red wine. This is without a doubt a true specialty coffee. I am so glad that I found this roastery in Ireland.

10/09/2025: I had gotten a cappuccino and my girlfriend got a mango smoothie and with the AI posters on the wall I should have known what I was getting into the cappuccino itself was grand id drink one from there again and the smoothie my girlfriend got was just horrible she had to throw it out by the time we got back to the car there was nothing smoothie about it it was super watery and the flavour was like cold tea not much mango flavor

28/09/2025: We are not people who go to the same restaurant over and over. Pomodorino is the exception. If we lived in Swords we would eat here weekly. The service is phenomenal! The food is amazing. We had pizza and a salad the first night. The second night we had pasta. Both so well done. Perfectly cooked. Flavors outstanding. Not greasy. Not over seasoned. Just all perfect. The people made us feel like family. Shout outs to Michele, Rita, Paula, pizza chef Little Tony, chef Kriss and sous AJ. All sooooo good. The owners Big Tony and his wife are also so warm. This place literally should have 5 stars. It is one of a handful of restaurants in Ireland with a Miglior designation.

04/10/2025: Currently on the way back to Cork with the fullest belly I've ever had. Fantastic quality food, insane portions, very reasonably priced. Staff were pleasant absolutely sound out.

The food was absolutely top-notch — every dish bursting with flavour and authenticity — but the real highlight of the evening was the marvellous Lebanese gentleman who served us. His warmth, manners, and effortless hospitality elevated the entire night. He even surprised us with a bottle of his rarely accessible olive oil — a gesture so kind (and a bit funny) that it became the story of our evening! You can tell he truly loves what he does, and it shows in every smile and detail. We’ll definitely be coming back — not just for the food, but for the people who make it feel like home.

16/08/2025: It was my first time in Bellagio, and I will definitely go back if I want to eat out in the area. I will also recommend it to my friends. The red wine we chose (Ripasso) was excellent, and so was the food. Very generous portions for the main courses and the chocolate ice cream was really good (and very reasonably priced).

28/10/2025: A great range of 'hot' barrista coffees and snacks. The Clonakilty sausage rolls which are made with black pudding are very indulgent and definitely worth a try. Always a friendly service with adequate parking & amenities..!!! ❤👍
