The best restaurants

24/02/2026: Very simple place with simple menu, but what they are cooking is really tasty and amazing. Waiters are very helpful and attentive, no matter how busy they are, they always regularly check if everything is ok. Food was served within 10-15 minutes. Burgers was very nice, juicy and tasty. Plenty of tables and music was not loud, so really nice place to catch up and chat with your friends, if you are into burgers. Highly Recommended.

12/02/2026: Closed 45 minutes early. Told leak in ceiling resulting in early kitchen closure while people dining on site with fresh burgers...

16/12/2025: Just made a stop here on our way to the ferry in Portsmouth having driven from Manchester. Absolutely amazing food and it's a really lovely place. Everyone is so friendly and will definitely come back. They do have rooms available so that's worth an option for our next trip.

12/01/2026: We went on a Friday evening and although the place was very busy, it was a very quick turnaround for the food. There was two of us and we ordered 7 dishes + dessert + 2 non-alcoholic drinks, we were absolutely stuffed by the end of the evening! Our favourites were the LingFen Wonton and the Prawn crackers, though everything we ordered was delicious! We spent €87 total, which I think is quite fair pricing for the quality of the food and the restaurant. Lastly, all the staff was absolutely fantastic, and big thanks to Nicole for being so lovely and also making sure my partner’s food was chilli-free ❤️

11/01/2026: Was there on Friday and they are just the nicest staff ever. They were so accommodating and pleasant even when I had to make a few changes. Food was also fantastic, set menu for a big group was so so much delicious food, atmosphere excellent and the amazing staff were the icing on the cake!!

28/02/2026: We stopped off at this restaurant for some lunch. The lunch time trade ensured the restaurant was busy with a lovely atmosphere. The waiters seemed to know everyone there and were so personable to all clientele. There was a vast array of options on the menu from full dinners to lunch. We opted for a lunch option with a club sandwich. The portions are very generous and great value for money too! The food was lovely but for me what was so magical about the place was that strong connection to the local community.

09/03/2026: Very nice place. Genuine and charming. In the morning, lots of locals came in and ordered breakfast on their way to work/school. Very nice staff and great service. A hidden gem.

26/11/2025: Lovely little room we booked for a few nights in the heart of Dingle. Right above the restaurant but it was closed this time of year. Easy access to all you need, good room, comfy bed. If we come back in season we'd definitely try the restaurant.

31/12/2025: Probably the worse bar service n Kilkenny. Pure greed during the day served all the locals before he would even look at us. We waiting nearly 10 mins and had to leave to go elsewhere

20/03/2026: Avoid large orders here - Zero price protection or goodwill Ridiculous experience with a €2,808 order. I missed a €120 discount by ONE day. Even though the furniture was delivered and assembled during the sale period, IKEA refused to refund the difference. The support team’s response was a joke: they told me to disassemble the professionally installed furniture (for which I paid €646 in assembly fees) and return it to the store to get the discount. Why would a company prefer the logistical nightmare of a full return over a simple €120 goodwill credit for a loyal member? Total lack of common sense and zero appreciation for high-spending customers. Think twice before placing a big order here if a sale is coming up.

20/03/2026: If you need something urgent, the IKEA’s premium express 48hrs / designated date delivery is NOT a reliable service. Zero communication ahead of time that a significant item in the order is not coming on the designated date. Left is a limbo for seven hours after initial escalation of the issue, being disregarded by the 3rd party courier, and patronised by the IKEA customer service reps. Not recommended.

22/12/2025: We had our Christmas party here yesterday. The staff were absolutely fantastic. Great service & regular checks to ask if everything was OK. Niall even came over to thank us for coming in! I'd definitely recommend The Kilmadinny Inn to anyone. Looking forward to my next visit. 💚

04/11/2025: We often stop here on the way to the west of Ireland. Its a great halfway stop. Lovely food, cosy atmosphere. Staff always lovely. Their veg soup and brown bread is delicious 😋

27/10/2025: Called in this morning 9am while passing through the area, reception door wouldn't open, but the restaurant door was. I asked the staff if they were severing breakfast, one of the staff said "No" and something about been full, hard to understand the accent. She said I could get something to eat in the garage down the road, if i wanted to eat in a garage i wouldn't be asking are they seriving breakfast, don't see how they were full as the car park was half empty (5 cars) and there was no one in the restaurant at all, place looked dead. Went onto Stokestown and had a lovely Breakfast in the Percy French Hotel. Never again.

07/07/2025: Great spot in trim town centre. Very small front of house then opens up into very modern well decorated seating area at the back with 2 seperate rooms with bars for seperate rental. We visited on a Sunday. Was quiet but we stayed for several hours. Good service and great surroundings. We stayed at trim castle hotel which is 5 min walk from here. We will 100% be back. Maybe on a fri or sat next time

28/07/2025: This cafe was amazing! My partner and I had the best oat milk latte and Mocha along with a delicious apple turnover (vegan)! They had a huge selection of on the menu of sandwiches, pizzas and sweet treats it was hard to pick just one thing so we took a few things away with us for home later. The staff were so lovely and helpful and overall it was just such a pleasant experience I can’t wait to go back!

24/07/2025: This place is a real gem! Delicious salads, sandwiches and meat and cheese boards (I’m looking at you gluten free folks) in a welcoming, clean, non-ostentatious environment. Because it’s a bakery everything is incredibly fresh! Oh and the baked goods are delicious.

06/10/2025: Lovely spot with great service and really tasty food. Everything’s freshly made and served with care. Easily the best value for money in Bray — I’ll definitely be back!

06/09/2025: Hipster café with a very nice atmosphere in Cork City center. When I went there it was really packed, but still very enjoyable given the good vibes and good music. Nice coffee too for 3'60€.

02/03/2026: Blimen lovely pint, friendly staff, comfy seats & clean loos! Whole place was fab, and clean. Group walk-in and got a table grand, even classy on a lateish Tuesday eve. Would go again for sure!!

23/02/2026: Smashing pint of Guinness here and great atmosphere. Perfect to visit before or after a meal in Richmond across the street. So much better than the pub on the corner.
