22/06/2025: Popped to dublin for a weekend away. Came across this pub in the morning and sat and had a Guinness. Lovely and quiet and thrnower was very friendly. The other staff couldn't help us anymore, even stood for a chat. Visited later in the evening, and although really busy, access to the bar was good, and again, the staff was really helpful (although under pressure). The locals were most accommodating and were up for a good chat. It's an awesome place, and I will definitely be back... oh, and the Guinness was the best I had all weekend.

20/06/2025: Had a 2hr+ wait for a bus home and decided to treat myself to Irish breakfast. Ordered it at 8:13am and website/app said 15 mins. It arrived at 8:42am, and only thing that was somewhat hot on my plate were the hash browns, rest were cold and bacon was hard. Very disappointed considering the price. Won't recommend. When I arrived there were maybe 8 ppl there, when I finished,it was busy with some who arrived after me getting their orders after I placed mine. (Sept 2024 - review didn't upload correctly)

Esquires - The Organic Coffee Co (Mullingar)

04/08/2025: Amazing staffs and the manager is extremely nice. The coffee is amazing, frappe to die for. Will definitely be back to place when I visit the town again for food .
29/07/2025: Highly recommend Esquires for food, drinks and friendly service. I've had both breakfast and lunch here on various occasions and I've never been disappointed. Toasted foccacia sandwich is particularly good! Also pancakes are fab here!

Salsa - Authentic Mexican Food

We went to Salsa for dinner yesterday because we wanted to try something different on our trip to Ireland. On our vacation in Mexico, tacos, burritos, and the like were always delicious.
Unfortunately, we only finished the plates because we were super hungry and didn't want to waste the money.
02/07/2025: Excellent food, pretty close to authentic Mexican (and it's probably just that they can't get all the real ingredients.)

07/08/2025: Toured Paris, Ireland and Scottland. The Waterloo was the best chowder and steak sandwich. Best meal of our entire trip. If you want a bloody good Chowder then this is a must do stop on the intinery. The steak sanga was outstanding. Better than any one we have had in Australia!!!

31/07/2025: Clearys is a great craic. Local music act come thru regularly. Staff is top notch and welcoming. Bring your own food, not a bother.
The live music from time to time is great. Look em up on social media to see who is coming and for schedules. You’ll not regret it.
Come have a fine pint.

21/06/2025: Bit pricey, and on the day, the portions were on the slim side for me. The quality was very good. Plenty of parking. Needs good weather to make it a chill out on a nice day venue.
23/05/2025: Unique by the counter service with a Delish menu of sambo’s and hot breakfast options. Highly recommend basil chicken sandwich and pancakes- soft and fresh. Just that the sourdough toastie hurt my gums, probably need to ask light toasted for next time. Nice atmosphere and quick service, friendly team.
