08/03/2026: Stayed in river island hotel for couple of nights. Very comfortable bed. Very nice restaurant and food. Friendly staff too.

02/03/2026: Had a brilliant stay here at the weekend. Couldn't fault the staff, they were very friendly and couldn't do enough for their guests. Highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful break.

03/08/2025: Mi café favorito en Irlanda. Venimos a Kilkenny por muchas razones, y Mocha es una de ellas. Deliciosos bocadillos caseros, ensaladas y pasteles servidos en un hermoso espacio por gente genuina. ITEs lo mejor! También impecablemente limpio. No puedo recomendar IT suficientemente.

15/08/2025: 10/10. Visiting from Ontario, Canada. Dave was a real gem! His coffee recommendations and execution were spot on. The maple bacon bagel was excellent. Atmosphere and service was top notch. Definitely check this place out!!

30/07/2025: A great experience. The beer garden at the back of the PB is very relaxing; it's a covered, cemented courtyard. If you want to chat, you have to stay at the counter. We enjoyed it. I highly recommend it.

26/07/2025: When you can go to a local pub and have a Beamish, Murphy’s and Guinness life is great. Don’t eat (don’t try really) and just wanted to sit with a pint and talk. Everyone was super friendly…I accidentally dropped a 10 Euro and the good folks at the table next to us pointed it out.

05/08/2025: Brilliant Pizza and Super Friendly Staff! Hands down one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a while — fresh, full of flavour, and cooked to perfection. The crust was just right, and the toppings were generous without being over the top. What made it even better was the service — the staff were genuinely friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and easy. Great food, great people — definitely coming back!

05/08/2025: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Food & Friendly Service! Popped in for collection and was really impressed. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The food was ready on time and absolutely delicious — the kebab was juicy and full of flavour, the chips were perfectly cooked, and the pizza was spot on with a crispy base and tasty toppings. Great value and great service — will definitely be back!

13/07/2025: We parked in the shopping car park and as soon as we walked out we spotted this coffee shop . We had the most delicious BLTs and iced coffees, the food and service was wonderful , thank you Barbara !

10/06/2025: My new fave coffee shop 🥰 The coffee is the best in town! Ready to drink temp so if you like an extra hot coffee ask for it to be extra hot! I got a toasty & it was the best toasty I’ve ever had! Delicious! Lovely cosy little spot, we sat outside in one their pods and was lovely! The staff are lovely, especially the young lad!!!

01/05/2025: Came in expecting the worst in terms of quality of taste per euro spent. Happy to have my bias confounded. The house white and red wines were both extremely tasty for their price point. The Yahoos ( 3 slider mini burgers ) were well prepped and came with a variety of cheeses to top them. Service was attentive, professional and quick. Venue was 90% full , so no waiting for the last available table.

07/01/2026: We stopped here for lunch after visiting the Kilmainham Gaol, on the way to the Guinness Storehouse. Service was friendly and prompt. My Napoli panini (basically eggplant parm with pesto) was excellent; the pesto was terrific. My ginger carrot soup was good, but a hair on the bland side for my taste. My wife's margarita pizza slice was good, very cheesy. Her salad was OK, but some of the lettuce seemed a little old. The decor is fun. A bottle of water and glasses was already set when we sat down. We'd definitely return.

20/12/2025: The only place to find the true taste of Italy in the area! Fantastic spaghetti bolognese, mouthwatering bruschettas - and plenty more, always made with the best, fresh ingredients. An absolute must in D8!
