14/08/2025: I stayed overnight in my camper on the car park, thanks to BritStops for helping me discover this hidden gem. Waking up to the stunning valley views. The pub is lively and welcoming, with a fantastic kitchen. Dinner was absolutely delicious – generous portions, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. The bar offers a wide selection of drinks, and the staff give great advice to help you choose something you’ll love. Breakfast the next morning was just as impressive, freshly prepared and hearty, the perfect start to the day. While I didn’t stay in one of the rooms, I was kindly allowed to use the shower in the morning – much appreciated! Friendly service, great food, and a beautiful setting make this a place I’d gladly return to.

14/08/2025: We had an absolutely wonderful time at The Glenmalure Lodge. The food was exceptional - the lamb was exquisite and cooked to perfection, with generous portions that left us completely satisfied. What truly made our visit special was the incredibly welcoming and helpful staff. Their warm hospitality went above and beyond our expectations. As an extra touch of kindness, they even allowed us to park our motorhome overnight in their car park free of charge, which was greatly appreciated. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and genuine Irish hospitality makes The Glenmalure Lodge a true gem. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Thank you to all the staff for making our visit so memorable!

13/08/2025: Visiting Dublin found this bar looking for somewhere to eat what friendly bar staff and the best pint of Guinness I had to drink on my visit and l tried various bars the foods good too. There's also a very good choice of other Irish brewed drinks which I sampled.

04/08/2025: *Vegetarians / Vegans avoid* Very odd! for Korean food there was little vegetarian dishes on offer and even though the staff were incredibly kind, they didn't seem to understand that vegetarians don't eat crustaceans or molluscs...?? also the blandest most tasteless Korean food I have eaten. Oddly it seemed incredibly popular.

08/07/2025: I had such a great time at POG Café! The food was seriously amazing, everything we ordered was so tasty and beautifully made. The place has such a cozy and cool vibe, it’s the kind of spot you want to stay at for hours. But what really made the difference was the service. Anderson was incredible. so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. You can tell he really cares about making people feel comfortable. He made our experience even better, and I’ll definitely be coming back because of that! Highly recommend this place — it’s a gem!

19/08/2025: I just passed by to get a tiramisu to go and the receptionist and the waitress at the time were perfect, incredibly nice and helpful. The tiramisu was delicious. Will definitely go again when I get the chance.

20/07/2025: We had Laguna cater for our wedding in April, the day ran so smoothly with them and the food was perfect! Amit and team from Laguna were absolutely incredible from start to finish! Amit was professional, incredibly responsive and attentive, he offered us advice and guidance throughout our wedding planning journey, always answering our many questions. We appreciated how Amit supported us through the creation of our menu, giving suggestions and advice on what dishes worked well together. We also had a great time at all of our tasting sessions at the restaurant, the high standards of food made us feel at ease at what we would receive on the day. Alongside the attentive table service at lunch, we also really appreciated that the team organised a separate canapes platter for us to eat and again at dinner the table service was impeccable. We had so many compliments on the food and are still receiving them many months later, we had a range of guests so we had to take into account spice levels and choices of dishes to suit everyone - Laguna hit the spot as everyone enjoyed it so much!

09/08/2025: Very busy, Staff well able to handle the high volume of customers very well 👏 We were not waiting for a table and weren't waiting long for food either. The girls were very friendly and interactive with my little boy despite the amount coming and going 2 separate staff made time to have a chat with him and he was delighted.

14/06/2025: Enjoyed my time in this pub last month , got all the right stuff to make it a local , but unfortunately had to return to miami. Great pint , best prices by far in the area , close to all the fun spots and gets a real happy to be there following. Pizza is a big hit , and got a upstais comedy club. May the passing of time never diminish its style...gerry.

28/04/2025: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Moone High Cross Inn — A Legendary Pub in the Heart of Kildare's History If you're looking for a real, no-nonsense Irish pub experience, the Moone High Cross Inn is an absolute must. Tucked into one of the most historic corners of Kildare — and Ireland itself — this small but mighty pub punches way above its weight. Always a cracking night out here: one minute you could be in the middle of a rock gig, the next you're swept into a trad session you’ll remember for years. That's the magic of this place — you never quite know what you'll walk into, but it’s always good craic. They used to serve food (and it was great), which sadly seems to be on pause for now — hopefully it makes a comeback, because the atmosphere deserves it. Whether you're local or just passing through, Moone High Cross Inn is well worth the detour. A true gem of Irish pub culture — you’ll leave with a smile, a story, and maybe a new favorite song.

27/06/2025: Great place and food for quiet Saturday lunch.

19/06/2025: Our group of dog and 3 persons were welcomed on the outside and well looked after. Food was second to none, chicken salad and bacon and cabbage as well as shared desserts just delicious. We will bring family and friends back there, thank you to the entire team

29/07/2025: Stopped off here on our way home, what a lovely experience. Immediately greeted by a friendly staff member, who put us at our ease straight away. Excellent choice on the menu. Food was delicious, and presented beautifully. Very fresh and full of natural ingredients and flavour. A very pleasant experience

24/07/2025: What a gem of a restaurant, everything about this place was great, more importantly the food was top notch. We all got different meals and each said the same, delicious. Was very busy but in fairness they were well able to cope, didn’t impact the wait times or quality of food, there staff were fab and the standards here are high. Definitely be back.
