13/06/2026: After visiting Malahide Castle, a stop at the Al Fresco restaurant is a must – it's the perfect place to relax and enjoy something truly special! From the moment you enter, you're captivated by the wonderful, atmospheric interior, which creates an incredibly cozy, Italian atmosphere. The soft Italian music flowing from the speakers makes you feel like you're in Italy, even if just for a moment. The food? Absolutely delicious! Every dish is prepared with incredible care and flavor. The prices are also affordable, which is a truly pleasant surprise in such a charming place. The service deserves a special mention – incredibly friendly, warm, and incredibly professional. The waiter pays attention to every detail, making guests feel truly cared for. It's rare to find such a lovely atmosphere and such a high level of hospitality. On a sunny day, you can sit outside and soak up the incredible atmosphere of Malahide – a true pleasure and the perfect ending to a day after visiting the castle. I am absolutely delighted with this place and wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone – a must-see!

First of all, congratulations for the kindness and friendliness of all the staff (especially the waitress, who spoke Italian and "pampered" us throughout the evening, even giving me a gift of a whiskey I really enjoyed), and above all, congratulations for the excellent cuisine: exceptional dishes, the fish soup was FABULOUS! 16/06/2026: Our retirement group (23 people) had a late lunch at An Sibin, and we're made very welcome. The carvery and salmon, with a great choice in meats, we're delicious. Veggies & potatoes (various types) were delicious. The waitresses/waiters were very helpful and very kind. There was a vegetarian option. I did not have dessert. I highly recommend this place.

15/06/2026: Splendid food was so good staff were friendly and very helpful.. If there is one thing I would say is they could be a little more generous with the food .. My carvery was excellent but a bit small im Gulen free i wanted a hafe plate i got a couple of slices of beef with a spoonful of vegetables and a spoonful of Gulen free gravy my plate had less food on it than my mom's hafe portion and they charged me for a full dinner!! It was not worth the the money I won't be returning sadly to say as they have improved there standards but it was disappointing portions and over charging to say the least the castle arch in Trim is still the best 👌

26/05/2026: We had a great experience at Milano - Temple Bar! Delicious food, quick and friendly service (Corina was great!), and not as expensive as some other nearby restaurants. Highly recommend!

14/06/2026: I thought that good breakfasts were a thing of the past. Not in Matt the Tresher. Was there this morning, got a very generous full Irish that I couldn't even finish. Might be the first time ever. Very generous portions, top grade ingredients, and a lovely relaxing atmosphere. Will be back for sure

14/06/2026: The service and staff were great. Look of the restaurant is great. The menu is limited ie there was only 3 choices of starter and main - given the limited choice its importnant that what is offered is cooked to your liking. I cannot eat rare meat - 2 at the table asked that the dish be cooked more - we were told that this is the way the chef likes to cook - food was taken back, a few minutes later was returned with no difference made. We left the food uneaten. It is incredible to think that one can order food - but the chefs stance means that you cannot eat it - unfortunately none at our table will be going back - anyone with a particular requirement for how their food is cooked should not either. I 99% of the time give positive reviews - this is an exception.

11/12/2025: VDA Blessington is fab! We go there on a regular basis for the best service (thanks to Dan and his team) coffee, snacks and Christmas sandwiches😁🥪 There's seating inside and outside...so definitely call in!

19/05/2026: I've come to dalang before about a year ago and the food was really nice. The other day when I came there I ordered a beef bibimbap and was quite disappointed. It felt bland and very oily. The meat portion was very small and it was cold. The rice was hot so that warmed up the meat as I was eating it. A bit disappointed with the experience. The prices are good and the staff are nice. A bit unsure on whether I would recommend this place.

18/05/2026: It is mix of Korean, Chinese, and Japanese restaurant but the taste very like Chinese food. The Korean BBQ did not come with variety of meat and vegetables selection, it was served with “unwashed” or cut salad and put it on a plate, the banchan is quite poor, only kimchi and marinated white radish. Again, it would be great if the restaurant could offer the variety, one thing that I do not understand hams was served in the meat as well and sweet potato? I have eaten Korean BBQ so many times in Asia and South Korea and this was not authentic. However, what make this place stand out is caring, and mindful service and the friendliness of the staff, they paid attention to the table and changed the griller all the time ! I would definitely come back to give another try on another dishes on the menu ! I really hope the restaurant could add more selection of salad, banchan and meat into the BBQ.
