The best restaurants

05/09/2026: On a day trip to Sligo, we had an early dinnerat The Harp Tavern. The food was really very good and included Fish and Chips with a large portion of cod and crispy chips. We also ordered the seafood chowder (pictured) which they are known for. Along with all this food, we had a cheeseburger that was very, very good. It was cooked perfectly and had a good crust on it.

01/09/2026: As a longtime New Englander, I can say this is maybe the single best bowl of seafood chowder I've ever had. It haunts me, it's so good. Stop what you're doing and go enjoy it with buttered soda bread and a Guinness.

16/07/2026: Booked pizza for a early birthday party, great service, pizza were ready for collection and very tasty!

11/07/2026: I place the order like before money is taken from account, and when i go for collection, they sey there is no orders, and they say for payment u need to contact customer service online through email. I offer to give me bank number and details, they refuse to help. My questions is who is responsible for payment? No answer

12/09/2026: Ordered the Special Seafood Pasta, delicious and pleasantly surprised on the delivery! Our waiter Chris friendly and had us laughing . We have a new cousin across the Atlantic Ocean!

13/08/2026: Missing Nicolas Cage in Cork? You will definitely spot him in this pub! The place is very local. Has a story about the style (you can guess how often it was said) but remains exceptionally affordable. Beer of the day was 5,50 in August 2026. Not touristic yet right next to the center 👍

28/06/2026: Three of us had dinner here last night. The ambiance in the restaurant is welcomming and offers a great atmosphere with well decorated classic good quality furniture. However, the food were disapointing. The selection is very limited and for the price we paid, we expected better quality. Overall very overpriced.

27/08/2026: Very informative. Pearse's personal life well presented. Scoil Eanna - a midel for education of it's time. The grounds are wonderful. The school curriculum was cutting edge for it's time. Well worth a visit.

11/09/2026: After a long break, I’ve started ordering my favorite Indian food from Maloti (formerly Indie Spice) again. And WOW!!! Yes, now I can taste authentic Indian cuisine. The food is excellent and incredibly delicious every time. I haven't found a better restaurant in the area. Reasonable prices, great deals and absolutely top class take away service. Definitely I will order again and again.... Well done Maloti

11/09/2026: Walked in, the food and service were excellent. Really great atmosphere and the staff were so helpful and friendly. Really wanted to try the cocktails. Will definitely be back without the car next time :)

09/07/2026: The pancakes was really tasty, awesome! But if your weight is 75kg or you are a girl, just take one plate of pancakes for two. The portion is really big. I suggesting you this place 10/10

15/09/2026: The chicken wings were tasty but the mains were very disappointing: catch of the day was overcooked and way over seasoned that it just tasted of pepper, similar with the mashed potato, way too salty. The kids bolognese was watery.

31/08/2026: Although it was Sunday and the Korean owner was off work, I would like to express my gratitude to the chef for preparing generous portions of kimchi fried rice and kimchi stew, along with the kind staff member's explanation, on a Sunday. We are a Korean couple in our 50s traveling to every corner of Ireland for the past three weeks since leaving Dublin, and wow, we were so delighted to come across a Korean restaurant. It was surprising just to find a Korean restaurant in a city outside of Dublin. It turns out they are closed on Mondays. The food was so delicious that I had planned to pack 2-3 gimbap rolls to go if they weren't closed on Mondays, but leaving my disappointment behind, I am setting off again toward another countryside in Ireland. I am always rooting for you,사장님 (owner). Please stay healthy!
