The best restaurants

24/07/2025: Great place to explore the Dingle Peninsula. Clean hostel with a shared kitchen. The pub is right outside, and Sean and Fiona are very welcoming. If you like, you can get breakfast from the pub instead of self-catering, but we didn't take advantage of that. You can swim in the Atlantic Ocean in front of the pub (we saw several swimmers, even though the water was too cold for us). Highly recommended.

23/07/2025: Nice pier side bar, good selection of food and beers. Good service with nice seats outside. Veggie soup was very good, decent fish and chips and a very good juicy burger. Lovely spot with a nice hike on the doorstep and great beaches and pier.

27/10/2025: A lovely breakfast spot, very tasty food and good value. However, the waitress we had yesterday was rude, clearly didn't want to be there and incredibly short and dismissive with everyone, not just us. A shame as the food was really good.

11/10/2025: A warm welcome and quick service. Our husky was made welcome and the fry was beautiful. Left with a gorgeous coffee. Will definitely go back

18/10/2025: Five stars aren't enough! The food was absolutely incredible. I had the calamari and scallops – both were cooked to perfection. My partner had the mussels and Hake and chips, and they were equally impressive. We finished with sticky toffee pudding and cheesecake, which were the perfect ending to a perfect meal. The service was friendly and efficient, and the wine and Murphy's were top-notch. If you're in Kinsale, you have to eat here! It was the highlight of our trip.

07/09/2025: This is a lovely hotel in the town of Mullingar. Very well situated. It's like a tardis. Looks small from the front, but is big inside. Foyer, bar and dining room. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Parking at rear of property is gated and feels secure. Room we had was quite small but very well equipped. We stayed one night, but if we stayed longer I would have asked for a bigger room. Breakfast was included in price and was very good. Plentiful. We ate in the bar on the evening of arrival and the food was good. Value for money and the staff where attentive. Would recommend.

16/09/2025: We’ve been here several times and it has been an amazing experience each time. Great atmosphere and the food is stunning. They have a sharing-style menu with lots of small plates, good for a group of friends.

05/09/2025: Now, we were there and we didn't have any wine, which is a sin. A huge selection of wines. We had some of their food and we loved it. Friendly, romantic and nice food.

12/10/2025: We don’t have customers—we have guests! Damn right, they do. After our first visit, we’re officially lifers! The tasting menu was next-level, and the interactions with Jeremy and Kai transformed dinner into a true culinary experience—complete with entertainment and laughter throughout. We’ve already booked to return in two weeks, this time with a table for four, because we simply have to share La Cocina Cuevas with friends and family. Two days later, we’re still debating our favourite course—if that’s not the mark of an outstanding meal, what is? Can’t wait to try the day menu next. We absolutely love La Cocina Cuevas ❤️

15/09/2025: Food is nice but man, the service is appauling, really bad attitude from the staff. Ive been a waitress for 7 years, so it takes a lot for me to get offended from bad customer service, Incredibly rude attitude to very loyal customers. Additionally, they only open determined days and hours of those days, and they ALWAYS run out of food, even well within their opening hours, and I mean always. Not worth your wasting your time, gas and money getting here, I recommend you go spend your weekend elsewhere.

01/11/2025: We come here regularly and the staff are so helpful and friendly. The food is exceptional, some of the nicest Thai and Indian food we've had around Ireland. If you're looking for somewhere to eat in Wexford you cannot find anywhere nicer than the Copper Chimney. We'll definitely be back.

05/10/2025: I love this place, food and service is always great and the menu always has some unique items. The one thing I'd change is the sound system in the place, it's tinny and echoes. A new Bluetooth speaker would do the job.

11/10/2025: This is my first time to Wexford and with me being a yorkshire man from the heart of curry utopia of the north of England, you have to try a4.8 star rating indian. The dining area is small but has a touch of class and elegance . We loved the booth. It is very clean and fresh. Ambience is very well balanced with soft tone lights and soothing music in the background. The Staff....are very well presented and very polite and friendly. Service... was very well time with very little waiting. The food....... I had the most delicious starter and main. Fresh light and tasty. From being to end the meal was perfect. The rice is light and fluffy. The first Indian I have had where chips were lovely. My dish butter chicken. Very tasty, fresh and full of vibrant colour. Added to the meal I perfect bottle of ice cold Cobra. This place needs a 5 star 🌟 rating. 100% recommended A big thanks to the staff for everything 🙏

23/08/2025: 🍔Burger 5/10 | 🍟 Fries 7/10 🍔Burger + fresh buns - bottom bun was soaked in oil - the whole burger was a bit oily - burger was served a bit too warm - strong taste of pickles - cheese was not felt + big pieces of meat, well done - no special taste in the burger, overall McDonalds taste 🍟Fries + lots of fries, my preference would be for half portion + very tasty - just basic retail mayo, no special dressings

06/08/2025: Well, what can I say about Bunsen? It’s truly the paradise of burgers. You might be surprised by the small menu at first, but once you try it, you’ll realize there’s no need for more. Sometimes less really is better, and here, they’ve perfected that philosophy
