23/04/2025: Just returned from my third visit to the Clanard Hotel. And as per usual never fails to impress. We stayed in the Ard RI Suite as it was out wedding anniversary and suite was just beyond amazing. Some beautiful touches in this room. Didn't want to leave. Absolutely spotless not a speck of dirt or dust. Housekeeping deserve a big round of applause. To be honest all members of staff are just the best I've ever come across in a hotel. Love the 2 ladies who seem to run the bar and bistro at breakfast and lunch. They are so nice and friendly. Even remembered us from last visit. Always had time for chat. All the staff we encountered were exceptional. A lot of hotels could learn a thing or 2 from management and staff from Clanard. Food was delicious from breakfast, lunch and dinner. If I could give 10 stars I would. Can't wait for out next visit. Keep up the fantastic work Clanard.

19/04/2025: Restaurant with a €26 menu with a choice of starter + main or main + dessert. Drink not included. They serve tap water by default. Very good quality of food. Good portions. Optional letter. Nice waiters. Good service. Good option if you fancy fish. Highly recommended.

28/03/2025: Best takeaway Indian food in the area! Food is very tasty and delicious, both delivery and pick up option very fast. Our favorites are railway lamb, saag paneer and mango prawns. They have kids options, and are super nice and friendly with children. Our young one loves the sauce chicken ☺️ and crispy potato cubes

21/03/2025: We’ve given this place three chances, and unfortunately, it has let us down every time. Each time we visited, we wanted to eat in the **restaurant area**, but they kept pushing us to sit in the **bar**, which is not where we wanted to dine. To avoid the hassle, we even tried making a **booking at lunchtime today**, hoping to secure a table in the restaurant, only to be told **they don’t take lunch time reservations but there will be space when we arrive**. Yet, when we arrived, they still refused to seat us where we wanted. What’s the point of having a restaurant area if customers are constantly redirected elsewhere while we are looking at empty tables in the restaurant which we know cant be booked? Extremely **poor service**, **frustrating experience**, and we won’t be returning.

01/04/2025: We booked the function room upstairs for a family gathering. The room was perfect and has a really nice outdoor area. Lauren was our point of contact making the booking and on the day. She was so helpful and attentive to all of us from the minute we got there. Overall it well exceeded our expectations. Thank you

30/03/2025: A firm favourite for over 30 years , great friendly staff , spotless toilets , they do seat you quickly , do book at peak times, lively spot with locals and airport staff, 6- 7 min walk from terminal 2 , parking out the back , consistently good , love the. Irish breakfast, all variations and chowder ( Better than anything you get on Howth Pier ) Chicken Curry is the business , steak sandwiches surprisingly fair pricing for it’s proximity to the airport , we love doing the pit stop here after landing , with visitors, or if we have time prior to checking in , the only downside is that it can get busy at lunch so do reserve by booking online or calling ahead
