11/05/2025: We had a wonderful breakfast at The Olive Tree. Our server Eli was incredibly nice, preparared and patient in accommodating everyone's different requests. He also checked on us throughout the meal. The food was delicious and the location is nice, bright and quiet. I can only recommend it and I will definitely go back next time I'm in Carrick on Shannon. Thank you Eli!

30/05/2025: Have not stayed here but can highly recommend the food. The staff are second to none with their help and friendliness..... Up date ..2 years on and still the staff here are exceptional with their service and friendliness. Called in bit early but were made feel so welcome. Well done to all staff from the reception right through to the restaurant ...lovely people.
21/05/2025: Stayed here for a single night. the hotel was busy, friendly, clean, and the service was decent. The beds were comfortable and clean. Water was piping hot.
Hotel is a bit dated, we couldn't get a spot in the hotel car park either but all in all it was a great spot, good breakfast,.good drink amd friendly staff

Si un restaurante tiene una cocina abierta, entonces los chefs al menos deben actuar profesionalmente. Fui testigo de tantas infracciones HACCP que fue aterrador. Picando comida y comiendo sin lavarse las manos. Rascarse el cabello sin lavarse las manos.
21/01/2025: Went here for lunch and ordered the fish and chips. Lovely crispy batter on 3 nicely sized pieces of fish with ample chips, a delicious little salad and a pot of tartar sauce. Service was quick and friendly and the price for what I got was very reasonable.

17/06/2025: One of the best places to eat in Dublin. Their tuscan beans on toast (the vegan version) is one of the most delicious dishes I've ever eaten. Their bread and baked goods are always amazing, coffee is lovely, staff is friendly and helpful, and the vibes are great.

04/06/2025: Ok, so unequivocally the best part of our Ireland trip was our stay in Carlingford and specifically our Hotel. A quaint and beautiful little Hotel in an amazing town. The hospitality was unmatched and a shout out to Terry for being so gracious to us during our stay, can't say enough about the amazing experience we had here. The hotel was great, the beds and pillows were comfy and the room was well-appointed. We had such an amazing stay. Thanks again for the hospitality, a trip we will never forget.
01/06/2025: I really loved this spot. Rooms where very nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was lovely aswell.

The food was amazing - filled with perfectly balanced spices, portions sizes were very decent with adequate amount of meat. Would definitely go back again and recommend to anyone who likes authentic Indian food.

04/06/2025: We initially walked past this place as we headed into Sligo centre for a look around and something to eat. After struggling to find somewhere that offered decent home cooked food, we headed back to the hotel and just happened to pop in here on our way.
And what a lucky happenstance it was!
All food here is cooked from scratch. It was great value and served by attentive, friendly staff. Not surprisingly, it was really popular with those in the know. More than a few of the customers were clearly regulars. There's additional seating upstairs and a lovely courtyard.
I'd definitely recommend eating here.
01/06/2025: We were on the top floor with Emma as our server. The atmosphere is bright with exposed beams, space between tables and nice table settings. Cocktails were excellent and the steaks with sides were superb. The service was outstanding and the owner looked in on us to make everything was good. We highly recommend the dining experience here and will definitely return

13/05/2025: It was busy but worth it for a good, actual craft beer in the city. Though it is a walk away from the main temple bar. Looks like you can also take in a pizza from local places if you want to. Plenty of seats and the guy behind the bar was cool
08/05/2025: Me and my partner had a lovely time. I'm not sure of the name of the gentleman that served us, but he was very friendly and made us feel very welcome as visitors from the UK. Highly recommended! The price of drinks (that were great by the way) were very reasonable too.
