16/09/2026: This is the place in Dublin to get your Guinness!! The two sisters who own it turn over so much Guinness everyday that it is know to serve the freshest Guinness in Ireland.

08/09/2026: For a bar that was built in 1795, look pretty good and a great place to have a drink while looking at the history but don't expect great food.

27/08/2026: Passed by so many times over the years but stopped yesterday! What a great meal, monkfish/scampi starter was excellent, pan fried Hake, superb! We will never pass without stopping in future, highly recommended!

15/08/2026: Didn't reserve - stopped on the off chance after our visit to Hook Lighthouse. Great customer service and delicious food! I had the sirloin - fantastic!

09/09/2026: It breaks my heart to write this review and I really hope you don’t think I mean ill of it but I’m just so disappointed lately in the food. I had the sirloin streak it’s so tiny , it would be lovely if I had vegetables with it like carrots etc but unfortunately doesn’t come with it, only mash. My husband had the beef he said it was lovely but small portion again. I understand you pay for quality which I don’t mind but the sizes are very small . The dessert the rocky road, it was unfortunately rotten, it wasn’t heated up which I’m 100% sure it was the last time . I couldn’t even eat it because it had a coal taste to the muffin/rocky road but the ice cream was lovely. The staff I can’t fault ye are amazing. So accommodating and friendly but unfortunately the food side is a bit of a let down recently . Especially spending over 120 euro.. Sorry guys 😞

24/05/2026: Got treated with zero respect at all by the polish female waiter in springboard ,very ignorant to me and my partner, wouldn’t give any time to have a look at the menu and food quality was very very average 😂Didn’t even get offered any water but every other table did which we were completely judge by our age because we looked young would never be recommended to anybody who has money for nearly a 5 star hotel it’s a joke the way we got treated. If you are looking for a nice and respectful place to eat then don’t choose this location 😅

18/05/2026: Not too far from Cork city centre stands a beautiful hotel on the banks of the river. Rooms are of a good size, clean and beds are very comfortable. Staff are lovely, professional and pleasant, and they can only bested by the food served. Everything from the goats cheese tartlet through to the incredible beef mains was nothing short of exceptional. To top it all off, a trip to the spa, including the outdoor heated (really warm) swimming pool. Overall, a really pleasant experience, and worth every moment.

23/08/2026: Excellent restaurant, everything was perfect! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the decor was magnificent, and the staff were incredibly attentive. A fantastic experience!

05/09/2026: A Korean couple on long-term travel is exploring every corner of Ireland, and it was wonderful that this place was connected to a B&B. We wanted to drink Guinness because of the burden of driving, and here, we enjoyed a Guinness in a great atmosphere with friendly service. We had a truly filling and delicious meal of seasoned fried chicken and pasta. We would like to thank the chef once again for his consideration in adapting the lunch menu pasta to be vegetarian. I highly recommend this place to Korean travelers and other Asians as a great spot for Guinness, seasoned fried chicken, and pasta. It seems like a hidden gem in Ireland. We have created wonderful memories here. It seems like a place I will miss a lot when I return to Korea.

27/08/2026: We stopped there for dinner on the recommendation of our host, Michael. The atmosphere was charming and typically Irish. The staff was very friendly, and the lamb dish was absolutely delicious. We'd love to come back.

18/09/2026: Great Fish … we had the Fish and Chips, cooked to perfection, and excellent service. They also had great catch of the day options, featuring Seabass and Monkfish.

14/09/2026: I came for the chowder and the mussles and they did not disappoint. Service and staff were very attentive and friendly. Venue and setting is beautiful. Wish I had time to try more of the menu 😋

24/09/2026: A small but very pleasant place near the Guinness Storehouse if you want to stop before a guided tour. The coffee is very good and the food, although simple, is also tasty. Perhaps a wider variety of breads would be ideal, hence the 3 stars.
