15/04/2025: Ate here 3 times now. First time was certainly the best. Last time sushi felt a bit too dry The duck stir fries are always perfect , meat is perfect Service is fair , we like chatty and friendly atmospheres and here it’s more reserved I find but it could be just the nature of it all Really nice spot though and located near enough centre city

13/04/2025: The staff and food was amazing! The STAR sushi roll was the best. I couldn’t take my eyes off the fish in the tank. 100% would recommend

09/03/2025: Was visiting Buncrana with family and went here for dinner. Would definitely recommend - they had great options for dietary restrictions (vegan, gluten free) and the food was so tasty. Service was also great and very attentive. Would definitely recommend the ratatouille! Also very reasonably priced for the size of the portions.

12/02/2025: 8 of us ate here on Monday evening. Food was lovely. Staff attentive but so very very cold. Had to eat with coats on Maybe because it was a Monday night and not very busy but only seemed to be a small heater above door coming in and we were seated away from it Had an early bird menu on and food was reasonably priced Just a pity about the cold and I won’t book a Monday night again

07/04/2025: I recently had a Sunday roast that left me with mixed feelings. The beef was just okay—tender enough but lacking in flavor and seasoning, which made it a bit forgettable. On the other hand, the chicken was a pleasant surprise: juicy, well-cooked, and packed with flavor. It definitely outshone the beef. The vegetables were a bit of a letdown—overcooked and under-seasoned, they didn’t add much to the plate and no roast potatoes, Thankfully, things picked up with dessert, which was a definite highlight. Rich, indulgent, and nicely presented, it ended the meal on a sweet note. Service throughout was excellent—attentive, friendly, and genuinely helpful, which helped elevate the overall experience. While the roast itself had its ups and downs, the great service and strong finish with dessert made it a decent Sunday outing. Price for roast 23pp Sweets 9pp Drinks 6pp Total spend approx 40pp not great value for money in my opinion

30/03/2025: This place is always a favourite for bubble tea. It's where I tried my first one with my friends from the local PLC college. When I'm in Dún Laoghaire, I like to stop and get one. Staff are kind and helpful. Menu is great with lots of flavours and different jellies to add. I personally love the coconut jelly. 🥥 Only €5.50 for a milk tea with tapioca pearls. 🧋

17/03/2025: I had high hopes for this restaurant, and the meal started off well. The fish soup was rich and flavorful, and the mackerel was fresh and well-prepared. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. The main courses were disappointing—lacking the same care and quality as the starters. The scallop dish was over salted and lemon sole which was floured before cooking seemed to be cooked in burnt butter. There was very little choice for gluten-free diners, and to make matters worse, there were no gluten-free desserts on the menu at all. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and attentive, but sadly, that wasn’t enough to make up for the underwhelming meal. Overall, it was not an experience I would repeat.

19/03/2025: Fab pub....First time in it on Friday...We'd just had a terrible experience in Crawfords and Co around the corner and the staff in paddy's were like a breath of fresh air....they we super accommodating on a very busy night. They were all really friendly and efficient....great live music on too....the food looks great, can't wait to get back to try that ....thanks for a great night guys...we'll be back soon.......I was back here again recently on St Patrick's day with 2 small kids. The staff could not have been more accommodating and friendly. Nothing seemed to phase them. They were all dressed up to celebrate. They had loads of entertainment on for kids and adults. We only happened upon it but we were delighted. Will be making a beeline for it next year. Thanks a mill guys. Oh and the food is always delicious.
