25/02/2026: My second time there to eat. Very friendly and relaxed. Good food, pleasant and attentive staff, genuine atmosphere, no airs or graces. Great for a good meal if travelling or doing business in Carrick.

29/12/2025: Stopped off here for some lunch on Saturday 27 December. Lovely cosy bar. Had a southern fried chicken wrap & it was absolutely delicious. Nicest chicken wrap I've had anywhere in a long time! My sister had a goat's cheese salad that equally looked delicious. Will definitely be back.

09/03/2026: Really enjoyed my meal here. I ordered the dishes in the photo and they were excellent. I decided to go for something quick and asked the host to recommend something for me. It was perfect quick meal while in the town for work. The noodles were nicely cooked with a good mix of vegetables, and the stir-fried chicken dish had great flavour with fresh ingredients and a nice balance of spice. The portion size was generous and everything tasted freshly made. Overall, a very satisfying meal and I’d definitely order this again if I’m back in Sligo.

07/09/2025: Beanhive? More like Queuehive. This place should hand out sleeping bags with every order, because you’ll be here long enough to consider filing for squatter’s rights. I waited so long for a sandwich I started a new life, paid taxes, and raised a family in the queue. And yet… when it finally landed in front of me, it was incredible. Annoyingly good. The kind of sandwich that makes you angry because you can’t even stay mad at it. So yeah, Beanhive on Dawson Street: where time stands still, staff move at the speed of interpretive dance, and the food is frustratingly delicious.

13/09/2025: On a trip to Dublin with my partner, had just finished a tour at the Guinness Storehouse and needed some lunch. Found this absolute gem!!! I got the beef bulgogi bowl and it was amazing, the kbbq sauce was so yummy, and my partner got the Seoul Burger and couldn’t put it down. Very kind service and overall wonderful experience !!! Super duper recommend, some of the best Korean food I’ve had
