The best restaurants

13/09/2026: The food at this famous place did not live up to expectations. It’s well run and judging by the large area for queuing it can get very busy. You can sit with your dog at one of the benches in the covered area outside. Quite a few wasps coming at the food and Apple juice. The had the open crab sandwich, fish burger and fish cakes and it was all ok, but disappointing. Even the fries were only mediocre.

12/09/2026: Absolutely stunning spot, great food, good coffee (cups a little small), lovely decor. Staff all lovely and friendly but docking a star for the cranky miserable looking guy out front (that appears to be management). He killed the mood on both our last visits with his grumpiness and barking orders at his staff. Please cheer up and ease off on the “procedures” - or perhaps move the cranky fella out front back into kitchen and put someone more friendly out there.

27/08/2026: Lovely little find this place is . Nice food and staff. I have also brought my kids here for the pancakes and they loved them. 1000% recommend 👌 as i said to the owner places like this are dying off so important to support local buisness

09/09/2026: If you love trees, this is an opportunity to visit every country in the world, by sampling the specimen trees here. Described as a "world class" collection, layed out along a mapped tree trail. A labyrinthine path guides you through woodland, riverside walk, over bridges, through herbaceous borders and themed garden "rooms". Shrubs, flowers, rhododendron, azalea, blue hydrangeas, river walk with gently cascading weirs. Recently expanded Avoca Cafe with plenty of outdoor seating, large garden centre, equestrian outdoor clothing and boutique shops. Flowers are pure psychedelia in summer, flaming acers in autumn, woodland wild flowers in spring.

06/09/2026: On my last day visiting family in Ireland, they took me to the absolute jewel that is Avoca Mount Usher — and what a way to end the trip. The restaurant is beautiful, surrounded by the most gorgeous greenery, with that effortlessly charming Irish feel that makes you want to linger all day. And then there were the oats. I am a serious oat fan, so I don’t say this lightly: these were next level. Truly some of the most exceptional oats I’ve ever had — simple, comforting, and somehow completely unforgettable. A beautiful setting, wonderful food, and such a special final memory with family. Avoca Mount Usher is an absolute must. 🌿

23/08/2026: I had a delicious cappuccino at Dingle. I was surprised because the taste was almost identical to the one near my accommodation in Inchigilla. This place is also a trendy cafe that perfectly suits Koreans' love for coffee. They even neatly cut the delicious sandwich in half and packaged it beautifully. Thank you to all the staff for your kindness. After a long 5-month trip, I am leaving with a taste of youthful Irish warmth shared over a cup of coffee.

20/09/2026: Just had a meal here with my family for our son's birthday. The food was so good! Great service! I had to reschedule 3 times and they still accommodated us. Everyone was happy with their meal. I will definitely go again and I highly recommend it! 5/5!!

23/08/2026: The place to be. Would love another movie snack option besides the lovely popcorn, aka film bro dinner - nachos, hot dog etc but elevated. The cafe food is lovely, but doesn't scream take me to the movies. A vegan hot dog with all the fixins on the other hand? I'm buying an extra seat for that bad boy is all I'm saying.

17/08/2026: My favourite cinema in Dublin. I love the option of grabbing a beer or wine with my popcorn. They offer a great selection of classics throughout the year which is fun. The crowd is always respectful of other cinema goers - no messers here! Always clean and tidy. Staff are friendly and helpful.

31/08/2026: I got food poisoning after dining here. I normally wouldn't write a review, but I'm certain given the timing that it was from this restaurant. I ordered Korean wings and the Duck Pad Khee Mao. 7 hours later I was in pain and severe acute diarrehea. It was likely undercooked wings or badly stored. The restaurant will disagree and try to absolve itself, and I hope this review will remind them to be vigilant and review their cooking processes.

22/08/2026: Went for the hotpot/BBQ experience and found it to not be worth the price with such limited selection of things. Some of the veggies were not fresh and were already brown, and the tofu looked like it had been sitting there since 2013. The kimchi was so old that it had too much of a strong, tangy taste we could not finish. There were only 2 choices of seafood available and the meat for hotpot was very fatty. Just walk outside and there are already 2 hotpot places next door that are way worth the value. For reference, we came in August and it was €30 per person.

07/08/2026: Went there for my friend's 40th and absolutely loved the karaoke room. It's BYOD and great value too.

13/09/2026: Food cooked perfectly, been here a few times never had any problems. The likes of mother etc id recommend booking in advace just in cause. Normal days they are just walk in and eat

09/08/2026: Went to katie Brown s in ardfert sunday and I must say we had a great meal massive portions great value staff very friendly
