28/02/2025: Michael made our dream wedding cake! Literally exactly as we imagined. I can't recommend them enough; no need to look anywhere else when choosing your wedding cake vendor! 10/10 !!!

29/11/2024: We ordered a 3 tier cake from Creative Cakes for our wedding and it was perfect! We had to change our order at one point due to a guest allergy and Michael was extremely helpful and accommodating. The cake was delicious - we loved it and so did our guests! Thank you so much!

31/01/2025: Delightful visit to The Old Salt Coffee Lab in Foxford. The coffee was superb served with a smile. Lovely warm friendly atmosphere. We had a 10-minute wait for the pharmacy to reopen after lunch and it was great opportunity to pop in. It was my first time to actually go in and sit down as I live in Foxford. I loved the decor and I was so glad they kept the same theme as their mobile coffee van. I highly recommend anyone passing to pop in for their delicious coffee, you certainly won't be disappointed. So grateful to have this little gem in our town.☕️☕️

21/12/2024: Can't resist stopping off here for a coffee when I'm passing through, what a hidden little gem. The taste is in a word 'perfect' (every time). The staff are cheerful and attentive, as soon as you walk in its unmistakable and adds a real personal element. A made to order cappuccino costs €3.50 which I would consider underpriced for what your getting "but shhhhh, don't tell anyone". You'll notice them take a bit more care and time than some of the larger chains and you can definitely taste the difference in your drink. If you have your own coffee machine you can buy a bag of coffee and I can honestly say its the nicest coffee I've found so far and I've tried a lot, branded as 'SUNDAY' it's a medium roasted Aribica/Robusta washed blend and a 1kg bag costs €30 and considering the best tasting supermarket coffee I could fund was Lavazza @ €25 it was well worth the extra €5 but a professional barista will always kick your b**t when it comes to a taste test. Try it once and prove me wrong, I DARE YA!

24/03/2025: This place is magical, time slows down as soon as you step foot in here. The air just feels fresher. Coffee is awesome, food truck delicious and the homemade scones and cakes are to die for.... beware of the crafts area.... very appealing and can cause extreme shopaholicism with all the cute trinkets :)

22/03/2025: Went for the first time today. Had a hot sandwich. Really delicious. I browsed in the shop while waiting for it and made a couple of purchases there too. All in all, a really nice place. Will definitely be back.

04/02/2025: I cannot speak highly enough of the wonderful work and services provided at Flory's ❤️ Even from the first contact, the owner was so incredibly responsive and kind, and continued to keep everything such an easy experience through out. This lovely shop went above and beyond to help fulfill a very special birthday request, and I am just in awe and so in love with the results! Amazing amazing amazing 🍰

06/01/2025: Flory baked the cakes for our wedding in September. They were amazing every body commented on how wonderful they tasted. We had a main cake and some smaller samples in different flavours as well as gluten free. They all tasted gorgeous. The presentation of the cakes was beautiful. We were delighted with it all. I would 100% recommend Florys Bakery. Thank you so much Flory for your hard work and help on the day. Your cakes were amazing.

26/03/2025: The course is very good, it's worth it. Bartira teaches the class very well, she is patient and lively. The class is also practical, which makes it much more fun.

18/03/2025: Seriously underrated place, nobody I asked knew anything about it but it turned out to be brilliant all round. Atmosphere is lovely, it’s a small place but they don’t pack the tables in too tight so you’re not on top of the other diners. Their starters were decent but the pasta dish was what was memorable - they do a perfectly al dente linguine and this thin spicy buttery sauce with prawns in it. The tiramisu is the best I’ve tasted outside of Italy and better than a lot that I’ve tasted in Italy too. Some small issues - they’re very quick to bring out each next course, but I was there on valendtines day so can assume they’re trying to hurry things up a bit. Also the portion sizes aren’t amazing, I could have easily eaten another half serving of the main course even after a starter and the complementary bread

24/02/2025: We’ve been to the townhouse a couple of times and decided to head out last Saturday for lunch, we arrived and waited no longer than 5 minutes to be seated, a lovely friendly waitress showed up to table at the back exit next to the back door , we asked if we could close the door and this was no problem as the table was in a draft. Shortly after a man who I’m assuming was either the manager or the owner came along and opened the door and used a watering can to keep it open, we then proceeded to close it as it was freezing, within seconds he ran out saying we had to leave it open as people would be going in and out. We explained we told we could close the door and that was the reason we took the table. He was adamant the door had to stay open , we asked of we could move table and he dismissed us saying I’m sure there’s a table inside and walked off, the whole situation was a simple thing , he wanted the door left open , absolutely no problem, but it was the manner in which we were spoken to and fobbed off that was plainly just rude . We explained to a different waitress we took the table because we were told we could keep the door closed and he’s now telling us we can’t , the poor girl was so embarrassed. There were clearly no tables inside and there was a queue out the door and he fobbed us off saying yer out of luck ladies ye will just have to wait . Which I can assure you wouldn’t have been an issue if we were spoken to respectfully . Needless to say we didn’t stay as he was now talking loudly from behind the desk and the waitress and ourselves were embarrassed at this stage. We won’t be returning or recommending the townhouse unfortunately.

23/02/2025: Lovely coffee, lovely breakfasts. Delicious desserts, very friendly staff and fabulous interiors. Very enjoyable.

28/01/2025: Older gent said I looked like Donald Trump's son. Bartender laughed and replied I was on my way to Greenland to plant the American flag. It was all in good cheer, I think... Fantastic bar though, can't get enough of the barely understandable Irish accents
