23/11/2025: I didn't eat in the restaurant; I ordered takeout. I ordered a sushi combo, and the fish was good quality, the portion was adequate, and the price was reasonable for Dublin: €30.

19/11/2025: My wife and I had a great experience. The service was impeccable and they really know how to serve their clients. The food was delicious as well, so no complaints on that regard. We weren’t even going to order desserts but they are so attentive that we decided to try and it was good. I included a tip to show appreciation. We’re definitely going back.

06/12/2025: 🎄A Magical Evening at Rye River Christmas Supper Club 🎄 Last night we attended the Christmas evening meal at this wonderful café, and it was nothing short of spectacular. As a regular here I always expect and receive great service. However, from the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm, festive, and beautifully set for the season. 🎶🎵 The live music was full of holiday cheer.🎵🎶 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦The staff were absolutely outstanding. Every team member was professional, attentive, and genuinely fun!Their proficiency and warmth made the entire experience feel seamless and enjoyable, yet I know some of them had been there since that morning!!🥰 🥂🍛And the food—exceptional! Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. You could tell a lot of care went into the menu. It truly exceeded our expectations. There was 4 of use so we got to try each others courses and all were delicious!😋 Overall, it was a delightful evening and I look forward to returning next year. Highly recommend this café for anyone looking for that xmassy feeling🎄✨

07/12/2025: Stopped here on our way to Dublin for a Sunday roast. Helped by the manager, who was abrupt to the point of rudeness and generally unhelpful. Rest of the staff were friendly. Food was terrible, with tough meat, unseasoned sides, uncooked potatoes.

09/10/2025: Rustic Inn sure has that good ambience with bar, eatery etc. You can have events here too but you must book early as it is in high demand. Free parking is available around and lots of access to nearby route.

18/10/2025: Decided to give Heavenly Cafe a try having never dropped in before. Really friendly owners . Pictures of the entire menu was really helpful. Cheap prices and the full Irish was lovely. Took a desert to go also which was to die for. Will definitely be back for lunch some other time soon.

16/10/2025: We loved this place. We'll definitely be back. Besides the food being wonderful, the atmosphere is beautiful and cozy, the person who served us was incredible, very attentive, and at the end, they treated us to a private show.

08/12/2025: First time in the Treetop for a family get together on Sunday and had an amazing experience. The food was exceptional especially the steak sandwich and the fish and chips and the cocktails were so tasty. Best Porn Star Martini I have had in ages. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Will definitely be back 10/10!!

24/11/2025: The Sugarloaf Cafe is a must visit, the full Irish breakfast and toasted sandwiches are delicious. The cafe itself is lovely, cosy and homely. I highly recommend if you’re in the area or just passing through. Can’t wait for my next visit.

25/10/2025: Loved this place for breakfast. Mango smoothie was the hit for the kids. Pancakes were huge so one pancake between both kids was enough. Portions are great to start the day - couldn’t finish them! Only negatives: 1. there was a flickering light that was mildly disappointing. 2. The poached egg was just 10/20 seconds undercooked. But the flavours of all the dishes were smashing! Would come back again.

16/09/2025: We’ve been here several times and it has been an amazing experience each time. Great atmosphere and the food is stunning. They have a sharing-style menu with lots of small plates, good for a group of friends.

19/12/2025: Top class pub, great food, pints are among some of the very best you will get in Limerick. Place is finished so well, bright and spacious while still being relaxed and comfortable. Great place to watch rugby as well. Would highly recommend.

16/12/2025: A safe bet for Italians! A very refined atmosphere, a very nice place! The food is good Italian for a foreign country, recommended for those who want a pasta dish or a good main course! The staff is very kind and friendly, greetings to Giorgia!

13/12/2025: I ordered the 23 euro carbonara. I found it too salty for my taste to be enjoyable. I know carbonara contains salty ingredients but I've had others that were more balanced. The portion size was too small for me personally especially considering the price, I was still a bit hungry afterwards. The service was ok, but it seemed like the waiter didn't care and might even come off as a bit rude. I don't think we were being terrible customers. The atmosphere and the decorations were very good. I would not recommend the carbonara and would suggest ordering something else.

04/12/2025: Very disappointed with the new version of scampi. All 4 of us ordered it remembering the previous occasions we enjoyed. very hard bread crust coating, totally overdone. Couldn't eat mine, please use a more tender tempura style coating.

09/11/2025: The Grove is a hidden treasure. Food is reliably good, the staff are friendly and helpful and the music on Thursday nights adds to the atmosphere. Worth a visit 😊

14/11/2025: UPDATE 14 Nov 25: following response from Jenny of Camile Thai below I thought it important to update this review. The response from Jenny that rodent activity was not present in food handing areas is completely ant odds to report published online, extract below. It confirms Rodent activity was identified in food handling areas including droppings in kitchen, dry goods storage, wash up and kitchen corridor. Don’t mislead the public/customers and compound the issue by lying. “Regulation (EC) no. 852/2004 Annex Il Chapter | (2c); Chapter IX (4) Pest Control Procedures There was evidence of rodent activity in food handling areas of the premises including rodent droppings found in the kitchen area, dry goods storage area, the wash up area and the back kitchen corridor. A report from Pest control dated 19/9/25 confirmed 'light activity' at the premises but there was no subsequent pest control reports available. rodents are known to carry a range of harmful food pathogens (including salmonella) which they spread via droppings, urine, saliva and on their bodies. Nobody at the premises was trained or supervised adequately to realize that food handling should have been stopped where rodent activity was evident. Your pest control contractor should complete visits over the coming days to eliminate the presence of rodents and provide expert guidance on required proofing. Cleaning of droppings should take place immedietely and also deep cleaning and sanitizing should also take place of the whole premises as dried urine could remain on surfaces. Evidence will be sought to ensure that all recommendations made by the pest control contractor to the food business have been complied with.” WARNING: updated 2 weeks post original review. I got really ill shortly after getting take away from this location. Lasted a day or so. To my horror I discovered today the restaurant was recently served a closure notice for evidence of active rodent issues in kitchen, wash up area and prep, dry storage locations! Vile! 🤢🤢 Original review: Perfect place to go for lukewarm & re-heated food. I ordered in the takeaway and was surprised to get my food within 5mins… Understood why when I got home. Live around the corner so no opportunity for food to go cold on way home. Meat portions are poor also. Overall very mediocre and seriously overpriced. I have been about 4 times and it’s always been poor
