02/02/2026: We had a lovely lunch there, my kids already wanna come back. My husband said it was the best risotto he ever had. Portions are very generous and desserts were gorgeous too. We’ll be back!

I also tried the homemade matcha ice cream, and it was yummy too. Lovely Japanese interior and very polite staff. Also, I’m just wondering what makes this ramen so creamy and delicate. What is its secret ingredient? ☺️ 🍜

24/01/2026: A really excellent lunch at Dax in the heart of Dublin city centre. From start to finish, everything felt thoughtful, calm and effortlessly professional. I began with the beef tartare, which was beautifully fresh and perfectly balanced — classic flavours done with confidence. The fish of the day was outstanding, cooked exactly right and served with clean, seasonal accompaniments that let the quality of the ingredients shine. Dessert was the lemon tart, sharp, light and refreshing, a great way to finish. Service was warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming -we were very well looked after without ever feeling rushed. Dax continues to live up to its reputation for fine food and consistency. A fantastic spot for lunch, and one we’ll definitely return to.

23/12/2025: Stunning restaurant. Group Christmas lunch but you wouldn’t know it from the quality of the food. Great selection and large generous portions. Excellent Christmas cheer atmosphere and superb service. Highly recommend.

09/01/2026: Our favourite wine bar worldwide. Having sampled wine bars on five continents it’s always a pleasure to return to Kinsale and experience The Black Pig. One of the longest wine lists I have ever seen and caters for all tastes and budgets. Make sure you book as there may not be room if you pop in on chance, but they will always try and fit you in.

07/02/2026: Amazing birthday dinner ! Myself and two friends ate here and had such a lovely evening. Staff were the perfect level of attentive and food was absolutely delicious. The manager found out it was my birthday and insisted on bringing something on the house (he offered drinks, baileys, dessert - all of which we said we didn’t need. He eventually brought a delicious chocolate mousse cake). He also remembered my friend from when she had celebrated her doctorate graduation there a year before and congratulated her again. Such a lovely experience, we’ll be back !

02/02/2026: 5 of us ate here New Year's Eve, often a tricky evening for restaurants, but everything was excellent. Will definitely be back soon.

30/01/2026: I Monelli is a fantastic place. The food is really very good, with great flavours and well-prepared dishes. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed meal or a nice evening out. What truly stands out is the staff: they are extremely friendly and attentive, and they can speak three different languages, which makes the whole experience even better and more comfortable. Highly recommended — I would definitely come back.

30/01/2026: This restaurant is phenomenal. I went for lunch on a Friday and, considering the amount of food and incredibly high quality of it, I think it’s well priced. Declan was my server and he was just brilliant. Very attentive whilst also made everything look and feel effortless. The canapés were some of the best I’ve had in fine dining restaurants and the rhubarb dessert was so clever I am not a dessert person usually but this is one of the best I’ve had and would certainly convert me to the sweet side. I’ve been lucky to dine at many Michelin restaurants and this one is up there.

25/01/2026: We saved up for this and absolutely loved the food and service. The atmosphere was only affected by other guests who were completely disinterested in the experience spending time constantly on their phones or moaning. When you've saved up for an experience like this it really brings the tone down.

30/01/2026: Just went in for some pints. Lots of cosy nooks and crannies. A great pub. One of the best in the country. Pool table Darts. Fire. Its got it all going on here.

26/01/2026: Malzards is an oasis in a small sleepy village they call Stonyford .Just 15 mins to Kilkenny and 20 mins to Waterford Malzards have it all They cater for party groups of of sizes and celebrations.Staff are pleasant and friendly.Live music at the weekends and a pool room to boost.Freddie the owner is great to deal with and get this he even provides Accomodation in the form of glamping pods and an area for your home away from home...the ole Camper home at the back of the establishment.Malzards also cater to bus tours and are known to put on a display of the sport of Hurling...the Americans love this and the Irish music that is in the bar while they are visiting.
