20/09/2026: Love the food here everytime I go!

13/09/2026: This restaurant was recommended to us by the owner of the B&B where we were staying. A very good place; we ate there twice, the food was excellent, and John welcomed us warmly, speaking perfect French. A wonderful discovery.

06/09/2026: Excellent, welcoming, traditional pub with friendly, dynamic staff. Easy to get to from Malin Head. Fast service and simple, yet tasty food. A couple of gluten-free options are also available. For the price, it's excellent value.

29/08/2026: Great pub. Live music and a pool table!

15/09/2026: No insude tables available when we were there so had to sit outside. They did put the heaters on for us so we were warm enough.

06/09/2026: Place was ok, maybe a bit chaotic. The cheese plate we ordered as starter was good, but the medium-rare filleto was mostly grey inside.

Special mention to Carmel, who is such a fantastic, attentive host. Looking forward to our reservation this weekend—a must-visit restaurant in Dublin.

13/08/2026: I had one of the best vegan meals that I have ever had before! It was a great experience, as my boyfriend is not vegan, it’s usually hard for us to find good restaurant options that suit us both. So we really enjoyed our dinner and had an amazing time. Patrick and Kris gave us a great service, very professional and friendly!

15/08/2026: A great atmosphere, typical Italian pizza with Italian ingredients. A taste of Italy in Ireland. I highly recommend it. Great pizza, excellent service, and a small but charming place. A must-visit on the Ring of Kerry.

13/08/2026: Would honestly say this is one of the best pizza places in the country! Such a warm welcome every time and the highest quality ingredients making the most fabulous pizzas! Hands down the best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had aswell!

01/09/2026: We stopped into Hugo’s last weekend on a whim for a glass of wine before dinner somewhere else, and pretty much as soon as we walked in, we wished we’d booked dinner here instead. The place has such a warm, cozy feel to it, with wine bottles lining the back wall, and after looking at the menu, we immediately regretted already having dinner plans. But what really made the place was the people. A special shoutout to Imogen, who was fantastic. I’m very much an Italian red wine drinker, especially Amarone, and she took the time to steer me toward a few French reds I probably never would have ordered on my own. She even let me taste them before committing to a glass, which I really appreciated. We only came in for a drink, but Hugo’s ended up being one of those unexpected finds you remember from a trip. Next time I’m in Dublin, it’s absolutely on my dinner list.

31/08/2026: Absolutely delighted by my experience here. From walking up you could see the outdoor seating and the views into the window tables. You enter and it feels like going back in time to someone’s home with a wine wall in front of you and gorgeous, textured wallpaper, plush cushion and both booth and chair and high top table options. The staff (Luke and Imogen) were welcoming and friendly. The menu was full of Delicious items. Since I was at Hugo’s I opted for a Hugo Spritz which I paired with their signature oysters to start, the soup of the day a cream corn chowder with Irish bread on the side and finished with a light pannacotta for dessert. I had a late lunch so not a huge appetite or I would have gone for even more. Great as a solo diner or a group. They had seating in the upper and lower dining areas. Plus the outdoors. Highly recommend and would return.

14/09/2026: Celebrated mums 95 th Birthday on the 13 th sept, with family, all 12 of us were extremely happy,the food was amazing and top quality,Chef Gary is an amazing chef and his food and presentation is unbelievable,the service was also fab.Thank you Vendricks for making mums birthday special she loved the birthday plate , everything was amazing.We will certainly recommend Vendricks.great value for money too.

15/09/2026: My dad and I could not get enough of this ice cream!! All the flavors are phenomenal but I could not stop getting the whiskey dark chocolate 😅 the strawberry was so good too!! Everyone is so kind and sweet and the ice cream is so creamy 😭

15/09/2026: Had such a lovely experience for our anniversary, we are from galway Barna and had no idea this gem was close by. Amazing quality food, lovely staff and amazing Guinness.

27/08/2026: Yummy, yummy! Absolutely delicious, and such a lovely, wonderfully cosy little place. I felt as though I'd known the owner and the staff for at least a decade. You absolutely have to try their full breakfast rolls.
