08/07/2026: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I have been here a few times. Dining here doesn’t feel like going to a restaurant – it truly feels like being welcomed into someone’s home. The pasta is absolutely divine, full of flavour and cooked to perfection. The tiramisu, made from the owner’s grandmother’s recipe, is unforgettable – rich, delicate, and filled with tradition. Most of all, the owner treats every guest with such warmth and kindness that you feel more like a friend than a customer. A truly special experience that I’ll treasure and recommend to anyone. 👉 Just remember to make a reservation with the owner on WhatsApp in advance!

The venue is clean and beautifully decorated, and the staff is friendly and very attentive to detail. We stopped here for lunch, but looking at the menu, breakfast here must be fantastic too. 21/05/2026: Really lovely setting in a tucked away corner of Kinsale. Staff were very welcoming and very friendly. The restaurant had 4 different sections/rooms, all various in look and feel and a good atmosphere in all even with how early we ate (6pm). Food was tasty but I thought very expensive for some of the dishes. €50 for a piece of black sole fish and a few potatoes just seemed way over priced even though cooked well and very nice. I had looked at the menu before booking but didn't realise how pricey some of the mains were. My cured salmon starter was a little bland but my partners Lobster bisque was divine. The meringue dessert was delicious. All in all a really lovely place to dine and I would look forward to going back again.

21/05/2026: Went for a birthday dinner. Booked for 5:30 and glad we did as very crowded later. Went for the early bird menu. Food was very good. The 3 courses were large and struggled to finish it all. They do a children's menu, but very short. The chicken gougons were homemade and delicious though and more like an adult portion. Good staff. Table in a glass covered area with heating and great view of sea and a small zen garden area on the other side. We hadn't been before and very happy with our choice.

04/04/2026: Great food! One of the best places I’ve eaten at in Cork city. I appreciated the seasonal menu, which added to the quality of the ingredients. Everything we ordered was delicious. The staff was super friendly and attentive, it was such good service. I will definitely come again.

01/04/2026: Went here for dinner & honestly one of the best meals I've ever had. We had the lamb meatballs & flatbread for starter & the skillet chicken for main. The flavours were next level! Its small so definitely book a table if going for dinner, but what a gem.

13/06/2026: Had a greateal here on a Friday night around 19:30. It's a lovely little restaurant, with small numbers and the full house of our visit would advise booking for an evening slot. Food was full of flavour and well presented. The staff were friendly,attentive and responsive. Would definitely visit again.

29/06/2026: I cannot recommend Trieste enough! The food is always top quality and the wine is amazing. Barry and the team provide incredible service, especially with his knowledge of wine pairings with cheese. Always a 10/10 experience.

29/06/2026: What a lovely little place, great ambiance, fabulous food and such a warm and friendly welcome from our host Barry. We ordered the classic Trieste sharing board for 2 with a side of veggie sticks and hummus followed by the sweet Trieste board. The meats and cheeses were all wonderful and were perfectly complemented by the selection of little extras. If we return to Galway, we’ll definitely be back, thank you 😊

12/06/2026: Perfect oysters and excellent main courses. A good glass of wine to go with it and we were in heaven. Highly recommended. What we didn't know is that you should reserve a table; otherwise, you'll end up at the bar, where you either eat or wait for a free table.

15/05/2026: Consistently grand food at Dan’s - we had fish and chips and half roast duck with cheesy and croquette potatoes with sauté onions accompanied by a lovely Chardonnay and a nice red from South Africa. Well worth visiting

27/05/2026: Came here for the first time today with my boyfriend and we absolutely loved it, Pizza was amazing and Greg was so friendly and chatty. We will definitely be coming back to try out more stuff. Restaurant itself was lovely and beautiful interior with a lovely outdoor area also. Was an overall great experience 🙂
