The best restaurants

05/01/2026: Interesting little restaurant, it's all run by one guy solo. Book via WhatsApp. Delicious carbonara which I've found really hard to find in Dublin. Ragu and tiramisu also top notch. Very good value for money, I'd say he could easily up by prices by a few Euro a dish and it would still be good value. I'll be back to try the risotto next time.

11/01/2026: Very warm and welcoming atmosphere. They really go above and beyond for their customers and it shows. We stopped by while it was raining out for a bit of food before our train and was greeted with nothing but kindness. We had the wings and soup, and they also prepared a toastie on request. 10/10 would recommend.

05/01/2026: The place is nice, the food is homemade, and the atmosphere is pleasant. The worst thing is that the owner is quite intrusive; he talks a lot and takes too many liberties, in my opinion. The lady, however, is very friendly.

20/09/2025: Great pub, hospitable owner, just like an Irish pub should be, with its interior, charming little lounges, and relaxed atmosphere. Tip: For those who are tall or large, mind your head as you enter the pub with a slight bow.

07/09/2025: Holy cow! Who would think that a bar, a bar way in the hills, would produce such incredibly good food. I'd give it 6 or 7 stars if I could. It is worth the drive. A real destination restaurant. Compliments to all the staff that made our dinner for 40 so unbelievably good. Two 👍

19/10/2025: Absolutely top notch. I met Charlotte and Dermot tonight and was astounded at both their sheer capabilities and charisma. They couldn't steer me wrong .. one delicious bite after the next. Unbelabable. I said, hey I don't think I'd like that but they were like "trust me" and I did. Grapefruit? Delicious. They're all good friends in there and you can tell by vibes. Great atmosphere. The banoffie pie was the best dessert I've ever had. I almost got a second one but thankfully a very thoughtful woman said "maybe two desserts is enough". She was right.
