The best restaurants

31/12/2024: I've never had a dining experience like this. It feels as if you're stepping into the home of the chef. The chef does everything, he's a one man team and offers a service that nowhere else is offering. It's the best Italian food I've ever had. Particularly the goats cheese pasta and tiramisu. If you're in Dublin and looking for good Italian food or a dining experience unlike anything else, I cannot recommend this more. I personally cannot wait to go back.

19/12/2024: amazing service from Valber and the staff and 10/10 food, we will definitely come back. We had Halibut and Venison for mains, overall the 3 course meal was amazing, can't fault it ❤️

07/11/2024: Hemos cenado esta semana en Patrick Guilbaud y Capítulo Uno. Tomamos el foie gras salteado en Dax tonite, y créeme cuando te digo que podría haber sido un entrante en cualquiera de esos dos lugares Michelin estrella. Wow! Chef Grahah Neville puede no tener ninguna estrella Michelin (todavía) ... . pero este lugar es el verdadero negocio! Nos encantó su entrada principal de lomo de cerdo asado con repollo saboyano y jus de cerdo también. Bonitos bouches de diversión, gran pan! ¡El puré de patatas nos recordó a Joel Robuchon! Bonita carta de vinos a un precio razonable también, por copa o botella. Gran servicio. Si estás en Dublín y quieres una buena comida, prueba Dax... ¡por mucho menos que las dos estrellas! ¡No te decepcionarás! Bravo!

11/11/2024: Beautifully presented, delicious food. Service was impeccable. Two courses for four people, beer and a bottle of wine for less than 200 euro. Also a surprise birthday desert pour moisture! Lovely Manager. Highly recommend.

24/09/2024: The pizza was absolutely delicious and the service was very good. We were only in town for three days but we liked it so much that we came back a second time. Unfortunately we hadn't realized that they were closed on Mondays.

21/12/2024: Back in Waterford again - unfortunately for a funeral. But a hearty meal in the Gratton, along with the wonderful vivacious service, really helped on an otherwise dark day. Wonderful food and a lovely setting - clean, comfortable and welcoming. The Grattan has definitely become our ‘go to’ stopping place whenever we’re in Waterford.

10/12/2024: This place came locally recommended and did not disappoint. We had the seafood chowder and the steak and both were top notch. Nearly the entire menu is gluten free and locally sourced.

21/11/2024: We got so lucky to find Black Pig in Kinsale. We arrived in town after a long drive in the off-season and didn’t have reservations for dinner. We “found” Black Pig and luckily they had 2 seats at the bar. This is an exceptional dining experience. Its warm embrace comes from the ambiance of the intimate rooms and the welcoming staff. Veal carpaccio was a special of the night; it melted in our mouths. Monkfish bites and liver pate were to die for!!! It has a local, neighborhood vibe…many patrons knew each other which adds to the hospitality of the place. We’ll be back. ☘️

The staff are always so helpful, accommodating, and genuinely kind, making the atmosphere warm and welcoming. The food is consistently 10/10 – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I’ve never had a bad experience here, and it’s clear they take pride in ensuring every customer leaves happy. Hands down the best restaurant in County Meath. Highly recommend!

03/12/2024: Shakeel who runs Glin Grub is a lovely man and extremely decent. His food is a fair price and it's seriously tasty, I usually get the Brest box. The chicken, stuffing and chips are unreal. I would also recommend there pizza, made fresh in the shop. Big thumbs up.

05/11/2024: I visited Malzards during my tour of Ireland last week and had THE BEST TIME! One of my most memorable experiences in Ireland! I had the opportunity to learn about Hurling, practice some Hurling drills, and win the Hurling contest for my group 😝 I also had the opportunity to pour my own pint of Guinness. The chips in this pub were THE best chips I had in all of Ireland (I was trying to become a connoisseur of fish and chips… So I ate chips daily all around the country).
