08/01/2026: I had the loveliest lunch at Johnos Lunch, and I honestly couldn’t recommend it enough. They went completely above and beyond to make my visit feel special — serving me a beautiful steak for lunch with all the best trimmings. Proper comfort food, cooked to perfection, and made with so much care. It felt like one of those meals you don’t forget. Donal was the absolute star of my time there. From the moment I walked in, he was so welcoming, hilarious, and genuinely attentive. The kind of service that makes you feel instantly at home and well looked after — with plenty of laughs along the way. Amazing food, warm atmosphere, and exceptional service. I’ll definitely be back 💛🥩✨

26/02/2026: The Gateway Lodge is a fantastic place to stay in Donegal it's a 5min walk to the town centre it has lovely views great staff they are so helpful I can't praise them enough, overall a great location and great value for money

25/10/2025: We had our wedding in the Woodford Dolmen last weekend, and I am forever grateful!! From the reception staff to the housekeepers, everyone was so friendly. A special mention to the manager, Will, who was on duty the day of our wedding. The food and drinks were of a high standard through our entire stay. All of our guests have been raving about their experiences! Thank you ever so much for helping to make our day so special. We will certainly be back.

Margaret does a wonderful job making you feel like family, treating each and every patron with respect and a warm smile. It feels like home… the true Irish experience.

08/11/2025: Marge is a gem! Her Irish coffee and smoked old fashioned are top notch, and the beautiful people and lovely pub are more than worth the trip. Can’t wait to go back!

20/11/2025: A newer café with stylish interiors and simple but satisfying menu options. Coffee is consistently good and the staff make you feel genuinely welcome. Nice mix of cosy seating and bright lighting. Perfect for quick coffee breaks or easy lunches.

15/03/2026: Disappointing experience for the price. We spent €40+ but the 'meat' dishes were essentially just pasta and sauce—the chicken and beef were barely present. The side of chips was also underwhelming in size. If the kitchen can’t maintain quality standards for takeaway, it might be better to streamline the menu rather than compromise on ingredients. I was hoping for much better value.

14/03/2026: Came here this evening for dinner with a group of four and we all really enjoyed both the food and the service. The food was fresh and definitely worth the wait, and we’ve noticed a great improvement over the past few months on dishes that were already very tasty. The service was excellent and we loved the warm, homely atmosphere especially getting the chance to chat with the manager and owner. The pizzas were cooked to perfection they were crispy and fresh. The burger was delicious and the manzo was also excellent. The starters were well worth ordering too. We will definitely be returning.

30/01/2026: Not hugely familiar with the area & we did well to land in here, could not have been a nicer spot. We stopped in for a late breakfast & coffees, all excellent, really enjoyed it, friendly staff & parking outside is a plus too. We would stop here again.

27/09/2025: The best coffee I’ve ever had in Cavan! I dream about it daily! The iced vanilla latte is a work of art, and the carrot cake was lovely too! The staff is really attentive and the vibe in there so great! It’s always packed, especially during lunch time so that says it all!

02/09/2025: Fabulous selection of food, freshly cooked and an exceptionally good coffee which is hard to find at times. Nice friendly, pleasant, helpful staff. Added bonus of freshly baked (in store) breads and cakes on offer too. Small intimate seated area to front of cafe and another nice seating area to the back. Have returned several times and will continue to do so. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

10/12/2025: Excellent shop & owner... we went in & ordered 4 cheese burgers at only 3 Euros each. Unfortunately, the shop accept only cash. We struggled to pay as we only had cards. The owner said, it is ok, the burgers were on the house. He also threw in pizza with total cost of around 25 Euro - all free of charge. My children gobbled the food. We left the shop with tears in our eyes & warmth in our stomachs at the kindness shown to total strangers from Asia.

04/12/2025: Best pizza in Nenagh, hands down and honestly one of the best in all of Ireland. The quality of the ingredients is outstanding: the tomato sauce comes straight from Italy, and the dough is absolute perfection. I’ve tried the chips many times as well, and they’re always delicious. Whether you live in Nenagh or are just passing through, this place is a must-try. Grazie to Flavio and all the staff for the consistently great service!
