The Castle Cafe coffee shop

19/08/2025: If you’re in Tralee, this is the bar you can’t miss. Start here, as you can then make your way into town and discover the other bars on the way down. Perfect starting place. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the clientele are the best Tralee has to offer. Great for watching a match or supporting the Rose of Tralee. Don’t skip it.
23/07/2025: I stay in tralee a lot for work and love the castle bar. Great place for watching sports. Great staff with lovely friendly mix of local folks and not so local like myself

14/04/2025: The perfect place to have something to eat at meal time. Few dishes but really good and elaborate. They don't have many tables and there may be queues outside.

06/08/2025: The food here is amazing! Unfortunately, the service was quite poor and I couldn't hardly get a water the whole time I was here. The waiter was quite rude when it was finally brought, too. Live music is good and traditional food was flavorful and well seasoned. Only wish there was better service!

21/07/2025: I was visiting skibberean a few weeks ago and we came to this gorgeous cafe for lunch! Food was amazing. I left a shopping bag behind with bits I had bought at the market. The staff were so unbelievably kind that they posted the bag back to me in Kildare!! What lovely people, highly recommend a visit!
02/07/2025: Myself and my partner got the lasagne, salad and chips today. It was amazing, absolutely loved it, lovely home cooked meal with fresh ingredients. Can't fault a thing.❤️

The atmosphere is typical of Irish pubs, and the music isn't too loud.
15/06/2025: Great stop in for a few pints on a Sat night. Seemed like a diverse group of people enjoying the live music, not just tourists. Wasn't a rowdy bar like others on the street. Seems like a great place to hang out with your party and listen to music.

31/07/2025: We stopped in for a brew and rested our feet from walking. Many beers and ciders are offered on tap. I enjoyed the Rockshore Lager. It was very refreshing. The staff were friendly and helpful. Sports aplenty showing in the TVs. I would love to visit again.

We had a burger and fries for dinner. Highly recommended, good value for money. Oh, and a pint, of course.
